Ah, this reminds me of the time i tried to beat ratchet and clank 2 with just a lancer and mini nuke. Bolden was so hard! I got to snivelak before i bought mini rocket launcher. Good times. :P

Actully those rooms are used if your character comes to a position the camera will teleports to the other position in the room.

The used this way in many games but its actully fun to look at ^-^

They used those for instancing , so when you get swallowed by the whale you think your inside it but really it sends you into that floating whale's mouth with collisions set all around it and a "portal" loaded at the end of the mouth.

It has to be there. They put those there so they can make you appear there when you go in the whale and when you see hunter's trapped thing. If it's not there, the cutscene can't appear. Of course, that evolved over time and less things are required to make cutscenes now, but this is a very old game.

The whale's stomach is no odity. You can enter it without using this glitch by going underwater and up to the swimming whale's mouth. He will swallow you. Because you glitched the game certainly froze the whale in place with some graphical glitches as well because it didn't know Spyro was there.

i found the swimming glitch in uhh the dragonfly spyro game on acident at the place where u have to get enough dragonflys to make the boat move i swam ova the net fence and all the way to death.....BUT I DIDNT DIE!!! it automatically stopped mah swimmming after i got a mile away from the net fence and i was walkin on nothing!!!!!!

lol on the simpsons hit and run on PS2, I did this but I got out the level with the jump cheat and kept falling until a landed on an invisable floor, I kept driving around and then I found the Inside of the simpsons house.

how do you get him to swim out of the water?

in most cases you go in the water and find land that is about the same height as the water. then you press charge and you'll dive into the ground. In Evening lake, however, I go into firework factory and hop on lava, then, just as you die, press start and exit the level. Since the portal is under water, you can swim through the whole world. 2nd method took me several attempts because it requires good timing. the 2nd method also disables the start menu and all portals.

You can get out of the wales belly without quitting, you have to keep charging at his mouth then he spits you out.

I've done that on my friends game!! Its fun!! Except when you go into the whales mouth and for some reason you cant press start... It just doesnt work.. So you have to turn off the playstation (this is on a ps1, you might be able to quit on a ps2.. im not sure i have never tried)!
