British Airways 777 boarding & takeoff from Barbados to London Gatwick

I think it was a good idea because the soothing sound of the GE90 is tucking me in and making me fall asleep :)

I've boarded a BA 777 via the stairs from Heathrow to Newarkm, it made me and a few other passengers laugh at the sight of those large engines. They look incredibly almost too large but incredibly beautiful.

And cabin is also very wide, and when I made my way to the back of the plane it seemed more wide than long, probably due to boarding away from 1st class.

The takeoff felt more like a 737 than a wide body jet, incredibly powerful aircraft for it's size.

@skbenergy Thanks. With hindsight I should have turned the camcorder upside down - I would then have been able to see the viewscreen. Having said that I rarely sit on the right hand side of Barbados flights as the view is so short on takeoff.

@2pb you can go on the new airbus A330 which virgin Atlantic got now. so enjoy. It will be fun. You never know you may enjoy this one too. They will have 10 airbus A330. Ps i am save up to learn to fly. So i can fly virgin Atlantic as pilot

@Virginatlantic28 I like the 777 but I have a soft spot for the 747 - I must take a trip on Virgin Atlantic's Tubular Belle sometime :)

@Virginatlantic28 787 is gonna be amazing to fly on, but I do agree that 777 is the best
