Now let me tell you all why this scene was weak... In the original "Tron" the light cycle didn't have to obey the laws of physics. Watch the original and then this, the original is many times better.

Visually this is obviously better than the original light cycle scene, but the actual combat in the original was way better. It was much more fast paced, none of them cheated, and they used tactics. I also like how they drove on a grid instead of freely around an arena like this.

Honestly, if i had plenty of money...i would want to get a 3D tv...JUST to re-experience this at home when it comes out!!!

a few friends came w/ me...and they really enjoyed it. While another friend i REALLY wanted to join us, kept saying "idk i read a review the other day and it said it sucked" and i said "THAT IS ONE GUY saying that...not EVERYONE...do you really think everyone liked Kill Bill??? ok maybe but so what" lol.

The detail in this movie is incredible. I saw it in 3d at the cinema and was dumbfounded at the poor reviews. Various people walking out the cinema were commenting on how good this was and I went during the holidays with a packed theatre. How this did not win an oscar is beyond me. The Industry should remember that we are not all artists looking for a film were there is a deep, 'hidden', meaning or twist that only those in the know see and the millions of 'faddies' pretend to see.

- He just saw the other programs grab their batons and manifest the lightcycles with it. He just saw them do it and said "now this I can do." pay attention :) I love this movie. I really do. Its one of the most rewatchable movies out there. You pick up something new almost every viewing.

Yea, but only for sound design and editing. They must have worked together, because at times the soundtrack is so on cue it acts as a sound effect. But maybe it's just easier to sync everything with a techno score.
