Simon's a dork. I'm 40 & I've loved this song since the 70s(when the song was first written). It's not for 90 year olds & it's definitely not "gooey". I thought David did a great job. Dan Folgoberg would be proud.

I just read in (foxutah) the interview from David A's coach that the last song was given first to David A and then they snatched it from him and give it to Cook instead.then they tell Archuleta to change Longer from high to boring tempo at the last minute. they are cooking for Cook to win. win or lose for David A, I know he will make more millions than cook. watching cook sings I feel I am in the bar or in the festivals.

In the past the judges always said that the contestants picked wrong songs! What about them? I think the contestants picked better songs than the judges and producers.

I think the primary reason the Judges picked the songs they did is to show how diverse the contestants are in their talent. Also, to show how they adapt to their "NON COMFORT ZONE"!

Both Davids can sing but Archuleta just has the edge for me. He's so enjoyable to watch and his voice so beautiful to listen to. Is is just me or does he not seem as happy these days. I hope he's alright. Can't be easy when youre only 17.
