actually no you don't the newer macbook airs come with a software that you download onto your PC or Mac and then you can install anything you want on it games new software ect. it's called remote disk seems like apple is getting smarter

my suggestion to anyone watching is to just go macbook pro because its only $200 more for 120GB Hard Drive, a Superdrive (REMEMBER: Macbook Airs DON'T have built-in CD drives), another USB port, ExpressCard, etc.
