  • Excellent ! I discovered this amazing band a few weeks ago and i love it !! Hope one day i could play the bass line of room#9 !

Maybe one day they will come to france ! I hope !

  • Great stuff. Wow.

  • Thank U! Glad you're digging it!

  • Jimmy Hazel is one of my favorite guitarists off all time.

  • Thank U! But remember, I spell my name Jimi;-)

  • Come see us on 9/18 in NYC at Littlefield and in L.A. at the Viper Room on 9/25! It's gonna be a Heavy Metal Soul throwdown!-)

  • You're one of my favorite guitarists, much respect.

  • i dont care what the lineup is..so long as jimi and rick are playing..i will always love the spyz lol

  • RicK Skatore is onna the dudes I patterned myself after when I learned to play bass. He rules! Keep rockin Ricky.

    Peace Spyz.

  • HOLY CRAP this is good!!!! Does anyone know where I can get these songs on an album? HOLY CRAP

  • great chillout song to listen too..

    gotta love this band

  • Okay! Jimi's doing his thing with the vocals, but what the hell happend to original front man, P-Fluid, and drummer Anthony Johnson?!

  • No matter what guitar Jimi plays...Jimi is Jimi...

  • Jimi is straight up awesome but a dedicated frontman singer helps the live performance a lot I'm afraid, especially if he knows how to get nuts like the original Spyz frontman

Don't you get me wrong I'd travel 500 km for the contemporary line up.

  • Agreed. I just commenting in another vid that they need a frontman prowling the stage like Broadnax and Fluid did. Without a guitar....

  • WOW! Killer rock man! I'm lovin' it!

  • Joel was not the original drummer,Anthony Johnson was along with P.Fluid on vocals. You can find old out of print cd's on eBay or amazon. Spyz is dope!!!!

  • i kow the original drummer joel he was in a band with a freind of mine from school a great band and a great drummer both the original and the present drummer

  • fuckin' GREAT!!! Thanks man

  • The only thing bad about these guys is that they do not tour enough!!!!!

  • This is fantastic! What a trio, guys love u!!

  • Matt Martin, Rick Skatore and myself! Classic second editon of Spyz as a 3 piece. And audiofunkdialect, learn some couth. My mama didn't name me fat man, asswipe!-)

  • Ahh, he meant 'phat' man...

Long live the Spyz & King Hazel!

  • Thanks Unchained!-)

  • um..mr king hazel..is there a possibility that the spyz will come out with an album or somethin cause it really pisses me off how alot of ur albums are out of print and i cant find them anywhere

  • ignore the jerks who have nothing nice to say. anyway- classic stuff. man, this brings back memories! awesome.

  • Can you still play like this ?:P

  • With ease!~) It's in my blood!

  • Nice, can you maybe post some video's :P

  • jimi hazel..

  • Shit man! I just found out about this band, and they are awsome, whats the name of this song? The part they play at the end is awsome!

  • wow these guys are super badass, and for a three piece, i fucking hate the media, why aren't these guys known on a national level, along with living colour and fishbone, fucking racist corporate execs

  • Strength in numbers blew my mind, back in the day.

    Jimi Hazel was positively sick.

He could do it all, from deep funk to metal.

  • hey tiger.. great drumwork there. adding deepness to joel's patterns. right 'ntill the bone. honour to play with these guys.. my funkmetal heroes. that's for sure. Nu: tnx for the post... :)

  • STRENGTH IN NUMBERS WAS A GREAT TIME!

  • I was the drummer in this video, and I have to say that it was the time of my life! Seeing this has brought me back! I am thrilled that I am a part of history. We are still talking

  • holy shit man, were you their main drummer or just for a little while, damn that fat man can rip on the guitar badass anyway dude keep on rockin'

  • It was, too short of a stint. Self inflicked. I left basicaly because of a girl. Whatever. That is history. I currently live in co. and play occasionally. AHH, the good old days!

  • rules.

  • I always thought these guys kicked Living Colour's ass -- why didn't they get the attention they richly deserved back in the day?

  • cause they were black, obviously lol

  • Anyone remember the beer commercial the spyz did in the early 90's? Ive beeen looking for it everywhere!

  • I LOVE THESE GUYS'

  • which album is this from?

  • Strength In Numbers

  • cheers

  • Go get the new 24-7 Spyz joint titled Face The Day! It's their first studio disc after an 11 year absence. Jimi, Rick & Tobias are amazing! I got it at iTunes! HMS4L!

  • COOOOOOOOOL!

  • bad ass band thats all i gotta say

  • one of the best live bands I ever saw.

  • Man! That's when Matt from Sinster Dane was playing drums for them. I will love these guys forever. The new stuff kills too!!!!
