  • *cutest little smile (sorry)

  • love the ending when they both smile into the camera. ulli has the most peaceful expression of a wise man on his face and when sungha sees that he copies him with the cutest little everrr! have to laugh everytime i see it

  • WHERE CAN I GET THIS GUITAR TAB? ANYONE?

  • @ 2:00 it looks like sungha is like oh shit I fucked up in front of my mentor lol

  • would love tabs to this song... ^^

  • It may not have any lyrics but i can feel what it meant... That's what real music is

  • when i was at this age...those of ulli's age just shuu me away... =(

  • Apart miles by age, continent, and race...yet, these two communicate with one another through strings of their guitars. just amazing.

  • Ulli, you are a nice a sweet guy. Thanks for your music :)

  • Once out of nature I shall never take

My bodily form from any natural thing,

But such a form as Grecian goldsmiths make

Of hammered gold and gold enamelling

    To keep a drowsy Emperor awake;

Or set upon a golden bough to sing

To lords and ladies of Byzantium

Of what is past, or passing, or to come.

  • How they can click button dislike ?

  • @assonx They thought it was the download button.

  • It almost brought tears to my ears

  • haha. i accidentally clicked dislike... sorry...

  • der kleine ist mal ganzz groß geworden :)

  • The greatest of all ages!!!!!

  • WOW man. That was AWESOME !!!

  • Chords please? I REALLY wanna try makin the rythm part and improv and such :D

  • Look at the musical communication between these two fine guitarists. Did you notice how they shared the lead and supported each other? This kind of interchange is really missing in today's music. This is what gives each of us a chance to pause and REALLY reflect on why and how they both will be recognized for their hard work and why we enjoy what they do. To both of you, Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Refections on Ulli and Sungha

You are the future; I am the past

You are the ocean; I am the land

We meet at ebb tide, make our stand

    sharing harmony that will last.

On one hand, a musical infinity

On the other hand, a desert that is void

    Two friends sharing, learning, growing

To water the land and land the water

  • feel like they telling story to me~

  • I want to play a Lakewood now hahah

  • REALLY TOCHING...

  • :(

  • Jungha is bringing so many guitar inspiration with him around the world. All I can say is ... thank God for Sungha Jung. You don't see a guy like this for every 50, or even 100 years.

  • Sungha Jung has traveled the world touring. He's met AND played with pretty much all of his inspirations. He has been in the company of everyone that is considered a professional fingerstyle guitarist, and is widely regarded as one of them. In his duets with Ulli, Approaching Dark, and this one right here, he's always looking at Ulli, as if he can't believe he's met and is recording a video with him, THE Ulli Boegershausen.

  • I hope that, during Sungha's trip to Europe for his Scandinavian concert series later this month, he can stop in Germany to see his friend Ulli. This friendship is too beautiful to be allowed to wither.

  • @kawaiiushii i believe it's his father.. and he learned it through the videos he watched^^

  • who taught sungha play the guitar??

  • @kawaiiushii

Be a creep: read his website. ;)

He taught himself how to play; his father gave him a few tips in the beginning, but he soon learned all on his own.

Isn't he amazing? And he's only been playing for about five years. :0

  • I love their inprovision... which is something I will have to work on from now on. ;)

  • @jl4singaqua11 Improvising is one of the most important part for a guitar player.

It will really help your playing. You just have to memorize the modes scales. Good luck with learning it and hope you find it fun!

  • Solche kleinen Buben wie er (Sungha) machen aus YouTube einen Kulturchannel. Mehr noch als Arte!

  • @ichmalealsobinich

    lol nein^^

  • listened to Sungha Jung the 2:35 minute

     coooool

  • Like their guitar duet " Approaching Dark " ( which to me was outstandingly beautiful), this is also a very beautiful piece that Ulli played with Sungha.

Apart from the lovely guitar themes they 'ping pong' between each other, it was also heartwarming to see the way they play together ...

(Sungha has grown up so much since ... but nevertheless, these early videos will gladly remain on YouTube)

  • 0:07 ulli

  • it does bring tears into your eyes doesn't it T_T :' )

  • WOW!! bin total sprachlos!

  • Nice sound in this movie, love it. Sungha playing on left ear and Ulli on right ear (Head set) : D

  • Just love to see how he is still trying to figure out how did he got to play guitar side to side with his source of inspiration,,, damn this kid is amazing

  • this song makes me happy... :)

too bad im supose to be studying for exams.....=..=

  • @hangeung2 XD

  • the best!! i love it. =)

  • you can barely hear sungha..

    too bad

  • What I love most about Sungha is that he still considers himself a student. He plays as if he is learning, especially when he plays with such big timers like Ulli, you can actually see the respect he's got for them. Still a kid but humble and wise enough to know that a student, no matter how great is never greater than his teacher. God bless this kid and all the greats who have taken their time to teach him one or two things. Strum on!!!!!

  • Beautiful and inspiring. This one brings tears to my eyes.

    Bravo guys!

  • I don't understand why it's only 36k views :( . This should be at least 1 million views. Youtube need to put this video as featured video

  • @ganibc

    I absolutely agree!

Beautiful melody with two brilliant artists!

  • he's got millions of views on his other clips, check out those movie themes

  • This was mind blowing. I feel like time stopped, and my heart just ached... So much warmth and emotion. It was.. I felt like crying. I can't believe music like this even exists.

  • I love how they talk to each other with their eyes. their love to their music make them one.

  • Smooth, Gentle, Perfect, Relaxing, Fantastic! My favorite. LOVE IT!!^^~

  • this song is in my playlist. whenever it comes up, it always grabs my attention to the screen, everytime...

    wonderful piece...

  • Wow, Sungha grew up so much and looks so mature in just a couple of years. I can tell more controlled tune and depth. It's a joy watching a gifted kid becoming better at his talent.

  • nice combo ulli+sungha .i love it. perfect

  • Another example of Ulli's beautiful music and his artistic ability...

  • what a blessing... ^__^

  • Lovely music =) Watching them play together it's so cute and heartwarming. Haha. A grandpa and a kid. Music is the international language.

  • This is PERFECT! :)

  • listened to it again and again....

    Mesmerizing...still...... :)

  • This nice piece is dedicated to all people who called Jung a faker. Sit back, relax a bit and start think about yourselves.

  • i dont kaer lolololololol

  • The relationship between an old man and a boy has for many years been a traditional basis for novels, movies, poems, and short stories. There are several good reasons for this: The mentor and his disciple, the bridging of the generations, the potential for conflict, etc, etc.

Here is perhaps the most beautiful example of this tradition I have ever seen. The old man is exemplifying the boy's vision of the ultimate life. And, through the boy, the old man may achieve a kind of immortality.

  • Totally agree. Thanks for sharing.

  • @foxygranpa6 Immortality is achieved by children. Through teaching the young a skill ranging from playing a guitar to learning how to cook, children are humanity's future. This little boy brings great promise to an unknown future. We need more kids like him that know what they like at an early age and push to achieve success. For some may see a kid who can attain riches. I see a boy having fun playing the guitar with an old man. The time and joy of innocence is priceless.

  • zapikachu:

Thank you for your reply and your insight. I agree with your well thought out viewpoint. As you say, "Immortality is achieved by children." The boy will carry the future." But in so doing, the boy will allow the old man to live on by carrying the old man's music forward, in the boy's heart, and fingertips. The boy may not look at it that deeply now, but in the future, he may look back and remember, and appreciate what happened.

Thank you again; I appreciate your insight.

  • @foxygranpa6 It's lke a Vienna Sausage.

  • What is so neat, is that they obviously respect one another....while playing that beautiful piece.....

  • the best part is at the end of the song when Sungha looks at Ulli, realizes his inspiration is smiling at the camera, and he quickly turns to the camera and smile... so cute, so innocent and remind me so much that he is, after all, still a child, pure at heart... Sungha, have more confidence to look and keep on smiling. You will not become a professional acoustic fingerstyle guitarist. You already are one...

  • @princesscreative I just noticed that as well. Adorable.

  • @princesscreative that was a beautiful response but still sounds a bit pedophile

  • I absolutely LOVE Ulli Bogershausen, and you can hear and see his incredible influence on this young prodigy! Wow! I should just sell all my guitars ... amazing, amazing talent ... thank you for posting these, and good luck to you Sungha Jung!

  • I'd love to see this kid with Clapton hehe

  • Well he'd probably be same like here. He can play along the same. Didn't you see him with Trace Bundy?

  • those who make racist comments in a video which is totally inappropriate are so uncalled for, it purely surfaces ones ignorance and immaturity, how nice.

i think this piece is really soothing.. :D

  • wow. way to make a complete douchbag out of yourself. jealous are we

  • thats a cool kid! :)

  • este chaval es una maquina a la guitarra, capaz de interpretar y no echar de menos a la banda.

  • Props to Sungha Jung.

  • he's smile is priceless... wait until the end and you'll see how happy he is. it's so pure and innocent.

  • you look so comfortable you almost look bored. If I played guitar I would love a lesson haha. Keep it up my man.

  • How would someone get this on their ipod. Love it.

  • It's 2:30 in the morning and I'm still up watching this kids amazing videos.

Awesome talent. He will never go hungry.

  • Truely amazing. Their music is too good!

  • I Love It ...

    So Beautiful

  • My heart soars like a hawk! :)

  • look at his smile at the end ^^
