I have an idea how.

Using scripts, it is possible to bind several keys to sound files.

Upon pressing the default voicechat button (V) the server would see the player as "speaking."

Once the voicechat is open, the keys for movement are bound to the sound files for dig-dug.

So long as any of the movement buttons are held down (W,A,S,D) the sounds will play and upon releasing, the sounds will stop, even if the chat is still displayed as being opened.

First you set up in sound options the option that instead of holding V to chat, you just press it once.

now in autoexec, put:

alias "DigDugSong" "play DigDug.wav"

bind "w" "+DigDugsong"

bind "a" "+DigDugsong"

bind "s" "+DigDugsong"

bind "d" "+DigDugsong"

the + is in front of the "DigDugsong" because it means when you release the button, the sound will stop. So long as you keep moving, you will play the song.

@redrundas sv_use_steam_voice must be set to 0 (on the server) and then add at the end of the +PlayWAV/-PlayWAV commands from HLSS: +forward/-forward bind w to +PlayWAV and you got it ;)

@redrundas Yes you can, just download HLDJ and get the Dig Dug sound and bind the mic key to W so you walk and activate mic at the same time. Hit play on HLDJ and tap the mic button so the voice input from file stays active. You should now only be mic spamming while you run.
