I caught it by fluke - I was only using an 8 lb test and no weights so I was lucky. Good luck this summer.
Yes we released it.

Which bait did you guys use? Also which weights and line? I'm going up there this summer!

Try a bigger net! Don't be so rough with the ski's, having the proper net will allow you to boat the fish in a safer manor, without harming yourself or the beauty! Hope you caught photographed, and released (CPR) that beaut!
