Dude, you might want to consider not mumbling. That, combined with audio in the background and all the recorded noise, makes half the review unfathomable.
Hi, how do you connect an electric guitar (1/4 inch jacks - mono) to the audio input on the UA-1ex stereo RCA jacks? I have a UA-1ex and very little knowledge on hook ups. My Guitar Amp also has 1/4 inch headphone (mono) jacks. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks dexter.mahadeo at gmail
Wrong. ASIO drivers are not the best. Microsofts WaveRT drivers are much better for lower latency. Don't get me wrong, I use ASIO drivers for both of my interfaces, but WaveRT is far superior. I can get 15 ms of latency with a crappy onboard realtek soundcard.
need some help guys. Im thinking of buying one of these things but i was wondering if u could plug ur MPC into it and record into cibase or logic???? Thanks
I just bought this device last week, I can't say the sound is better than the sound I get from my laptop's headphone connector. If I switch between the normal mode (12bit/48khz) and advance mode (24bit/96khz) I hear absolutely no difference. I can't see why anyone would recommand this product.
Well I have this interface for some time now and I used it just to record with a guitar to cubase - it does the job pretty well! But now with a problem with fraps which doesn't capture the games sound for some reason I went googling and I find this interface has digital input (s/pdif). So what can I do with it? My mobo has a spdif out. Is it better than the "green" stereo out? Anyone on this? Thx in advance. Cheers!
say i got AKG headphones, and M-Audio Monitors, and i do no vocal recording at all. Just strictly music production, is this a good product too buy, because im runnin low on funds and need to go quite cheap, but its still gotta get the job done (im usuing Reason 4.0 aswell in case that makes a diff) thanks to whoever replies to this. Cheers
Then this will be excellent. You can simply plug ur headphones into the headphone input(has it's own volume control) and then connect your studio monitors in the RCA output!
Hi. I have my edirol connected to my laptop but it records computer sounds aswell as microphone sounds at same time. It´s annoying cause I don´t want metronome sounds in the background and I can´t get sounds at separate channels... anyone know how to solve this? ..I use windows vista
hi i cant see this video cos my flash is busted but i hope you can help i have an Edirol UA-1EX and want to know if i can use it to record my guitar onto a pc is this do-able with phono2jack adaptors?
That's the interface I use in my studio. Awesome little unit! I use the digital optical input. I had to hunt around the internet for a 1/8th size adaptor for it though. Cool review dude!
DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW LOW THE MS CAN GO IN FLSTUDIO WITH THIS BECAUSE ASIO4ALL ALLOWS WITH OUT FUCKING UP THE SOUND LIKE 516MS

im gettin a latency of 75ms. thats the lowest buffer i can go without artifacts. hows the latency on this device?
MathyousBeats 2 years ago
One possible reason why it's late is that you may not have the drivers installed correctly.

Good vid but i'd like to see a close up of the inputs. Could record one of the inputs?

Why go external? I prefer somethin in the PC or on the rack. I currently run the M-Audio Delta which really kicks ass and is Pro Tools Compatible
