  • 16 long ass year later there at it again?

  • the WCW promos were the best promos ever on wrestling history

  • How good was the backing track here! Anyone know what it was? And I seriously miss WCW. Sting was the greatest.

  • i love this persona of sting

  • These twoi hated each other .,...they where like a married couple jesus

  • yea that is me and my brothers in the ring with sting... I am ring next to him, the only one you can really make out!! Sting is the best wrestler ever to lace up boots!

  • what if he really NEVER let go of that deadlock, like not even to eat, shit, or move on?? 15 years later just chillin with ric flair in a scorpion deadlock!!

  • LOL, the way that Flair bounces off the ropes, taunts a little and simply punches Sting is hilarious.

  • @RyanIsOffended Yeah, hes great - he's like "Come on Stinger" *bounce*-style and profile-*punch*-Woo! XD

  • @andy7666

Haha... Flair truly is the man. No one could pull off that badass of a heel turn. It's just simply hilarious looking.

  • Im glad he never went to WWF/WWE he would have been buried or given a stupid gimmick like Flair. A jobber

  • Two of the absolute best. I like the attention to extended detail in this storyline, the swerves and switching alliances, the acknowledgement fo long standing fueds. Nowadays we have Randy Orton and John Cena standing together even though they tried to LITERALLY kill each other a few months ago. Sigh... too bad that attention would not last in WCW...

  • Sting used to be buff in the 80s

  • I remember this I know I'm in the minority but I wasn't a fan of the NWO days. It's too bad Sting wasn't champ more often after Hogan came in and got the belt even though he only wrestled once a month.

  • classic

  • This is why Sting is the Icon and Flair being the man of wrestling.

  • i remember watching this with my brother.

  • Sting had one of the coolest looks ever.

  • 1:27

  • THE GOOD OL DAYS!!!!!!

  • that was a lush ddt

  • see why WCW is no more?this promo package sucks ass,WWE did promos way fuckin better, all WCW did most of the time was rip off WWE,all the knockoffs had no fuckin Chance in the Attitude Era!!especially since it was The Rock and Stone Cold who did it,WCW had all the old wrestlers while WWE made new talent,WCW was lame and here one of the reasons why

  • @poopsyko i think this was before the attitude era. brian pillman was still with wcw at the time

  • I have shivers down my spine after watching that. I wish I could go back in time and watch this stuff week in week out again. What a great era of wrestling.

  • loved it

  • wcw in 95 the dod wanted to destroy hogan and the horsemen wanted to destroy sting but when hulk and sting formed an alliance the horesemen and the dod started to fued which led up to the nwo stroyline

  • That ddt anderson gave flair was just priceless lol, flair can just sell his ass off.

  • Great stuff. WCW was great pre NWO as well.

  • @danteras23 yes, so true. Nitro had some very interesting story lines. I remember one of them being where The Dungeon of Doom just wanted to destroy Hulkamania which was so awesome to see week after week.

Then yes came nWo which just lifted WCW over the then WWF. But all these great memories are no thanks to Time Warner who sold WCW to Vince for just 4.5 Million

Gave it away and now for almost 9 years we have had to listen to Vince say he killed WCW when in fact he was sweating for a long time

  • that is so gay

  • Woah man. Freakin' SICK ddt.

  • 60 Man Battle Royal?

Now I understand the option on WCW/NWO: Revenge

  • i miss the old wrestling, not the lame-ass john cena shit WWE puts out today.

  • sting and ric flair always put on the best matchs

  • How many times did Flair screw over Sting? 1000? lol They were all great though.

  • @altohart That's the nature of the good guy vs the bad guy. The bad guy uses the good guy's rules against him. Flair is in trouble, so Sting has to help. When WWE created "attitude" and the good guys acted just like the bad guys, it went to hell.

  • The Ric Flair & Sting Rivalry was the foundation for WCW skyrocketing.

  • great flair moment.

  • Rick sold the DDT @ 0:20 so god damn good that, if the WWE was smart enough to make tapes to hand out to their guys it would be in the "sell the move" chapter. With the current state of WWE talent, it would be an instructional video a week long.

  • Good old days, when wrestling was good.

  • GOD HOW I MISS WCW .

  • this is great, ahhhhh the sweetness of the past

  • i like stins early 90 looks better

  • sigh the good days of wrestling

  • awesome promo vid! this was a great match in my opinion! I love Sting's theme song back then!

  • good promo

  • gotta love the graphic at 2:19...wow

  • the only thing ultimate about the warrior was how lucky he was to get his push.better to be lucky than good.but he had less talent than uncle elmer after 2 kegs and it aint even close.guys like andre, rude, hulk, dibiase, slaughter, perfect, undertaker and savage made that chump everything he never was!kerry von erich was a hell of a lot better than warrior and should have got that push but his drug addictions prevented him from ever really seeing his true potential.ultimate asshole!warrior not quite!

  • Warrior had amazing charisma, intensity, a great body, and a small handful of highly athletic spectacle-type moves. He was entertaining and became a good worker later in his career. Unfortunately he was too neurotic to stick around for long.

  • i wish i was there

  • whats up with that shitty music

  • Can you imagine if the WWE had some how gotten sting instead of Warrior? O and i personally like the old surfer sting, but none the less he is still the greatest nonWWE wrestler ever

  • diganme quien canta esa musica porfa

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • q musica es

  • 1:43 lol sting fight like a hooligan

  • lol at the ref jumping when flair punched sting

  • " He hit Sting ! "

  • Surfer Sting was great. But Crow Sting went to even higher levels. Lots of people change gimmicks throughout their careers without changing characters. HHH started as a spoiled rich kid when he made his WWF debut. HBK's gimmick evolved through the years. But Sting and Big Poppa Pump took opposite approaches. Sting dropped the bleach blond hair and Stiener picked it up.

  • I liked Sting's gimmick back in those days. He had great intensity. When he tells Flair "I'll leave you for dead! Dead, dead, dead!", his eyes are awesome. Sting is a legend and I love the fact that he was TRULY the franchise player for WCW.

  • Sting was great

Atleast he cared about his fans unlike The Ultimate Warrior. even tho Warrior was great

  • "Sting was great"???

Sting has always been great and still has it now in TNA. THE Icon!

  • Warrior was warrior, the way he treated the fans at wrestlemania 7 walking to the ring and yelling "get off" to the fans grabbing at him and him being so pissy about his lovley trench getting ripped was pathetic, The fact is warrior was awesome, but his selfishness killed that image, sting though, is a legend for his passion for the fans...True imortal

  • How many times did Flair "swerve" Sting over the years? 1000? Every time he trusted him, you knew what would happen...which is what made it so great.

  • Well Sting always had to be Capn' Save-a-Ho.

  • look at the referee flapping his arms around

  • Flair was the KING OF COOL. I would love to believe that sometime in my lifetime there would be another wrestler like him but I seriously doubt it.

  • 1:28-1:32 LMAO!

  • that brian pillman that kicked flair?

  • Alays said Flair was a biatch.

  • Do you have the Sting vs Flair match from World War 3 96?

  • Sting vs Flair is one of my all time favorite rivalries.

  • great stuff. I wish wrestling was still like this.

  • i really enjoyed that whole pay per view, some pretty solid matches

  • 60 Man Battle Royal? HA.

  • Blond Sting > Every other Sting

  • crowe sting

  • Notice how Sting was starting to grow his hair out here? He even has a little bit of black hair in this time period.

  • The crow Sting may have been a better character, however the Surfer Sting had way better matches.

  • Surfer Sting was also younger with less injuries and he had Flair leading him through matches.

  • scorpion deathlock> sharpshooter> backwords figure fourlock

  • yeah cause its not like they're the same move dipshit

  • Scorpion Deathlock > Sharpshooter

  • HE HIT STING

  • wat da hell he was thinking

  • ric flair the the best wrestler of all time wooooooooooooooooo

  • what a buildup! "I'm gonna leave you for DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!" "If I get it hooked on again, i'll never let go"

  • Sting won

  • Sting: The biggest superstar to never have been in wwf

  • True. I wish he would go to the WWE though. That would be awesome. Seeing him in front of a large audience.

  • @Whoo69 and one of the few, rumor has it that abyss is the other one

  • @Whoo69 Better for him that he didn't. Vince would ruin him.

  • So far a better promo package in the whole series of videos from this time. Such a great fued right here too.
