@Stemax1960 Of course I understand the song - it's based on an older folk tune called the ballad of Lizzie Wan - it's a suicide note written by a young girl after she discovers she's become pregnant by her brother. Great art can still be dark and thought-provoking ... in fact, it should be! I still stand by what I said, it's got more heart and genius than anything playing today.

Another song which springs to mind is Excerpt From A Teenage Opera by Keith West. Those lyrics have a hidden message if you listen carefully to them. Basically, don't take people for granted. As I stated, I respect you. I am also grateful to you for mentioning Lizzie Wan. That was something I didn't know.

A former college classmate introduced me to her music in 1986, right after "Hounds Of Love"... I went out & bought her entire catalog! She is one of a kind...a kind we TRULY need MANY more of!
