I keep coming back to this fine cover of a fine song, because it adds a beautyfuel melancholic aspect and angle to a super-self-aware song. In the context of the album, this song is simply STUNNING, shrugging at the rest of the album's content as well as at the rest of the world at large. Plus the lassie playing it is lovely to look at.

This is by far my favorite song on your page. I love all them but Pessimistic Lines always had a sort of a personal meaning for me. Suffer was just such a great album and this was my choice track. You rock. And you're better at guitar than me :P

I love the liberties you take on the BR covers. I think your interpretations of BR songs are awesome. You make the music personal and you show a deep understanding of the lyrics and the emotion. I actually think you bring out the emotions. I also love the folk twist you put on the music (BR is partly folk influenced, after all). Who cares about those hecklers? Chasing the Wild Goose was a newer cover by her, why is that one in your list? Instead you left out her Tested cover where she whistled during the chorus solo. Or Don't Sell me Short.

I liked the straightforwardness of this. That's Suffer!! Sadly I know some BR fans who don't even like Suffer. Even though it is one of the most poetic masterpieces ever. Anyways I like her conviction and some scowling was there :)
