  • Actually, the plane used in this clip was the Boeing 767-200.

  • madrid ???? this part was filmed on espichel cape ( portugal ) ..madrid ??

  • LOL They offered alchohol! I wish they still did that :( JK

  • And they still use the same planes.

  • @Lithys What? I certainly don't work on the old L10-11's. Such Ignorance.

  • @canuckete Was being sarcastic.

  • @canuckete I'd take an L-1011 over an A330 any day!

  • @pcressma Ya, it is my favourite aircraft but it's way beyond my time. My co-workers told me they would have to raise their feet from the jumpseat on landing since there can be toilet leaks sometimes haha.

  • @canuckete My grandfather was an engineer for Lockheed and worked extensively on the L-1011....He always felt (as do I) that it was far superior to the DC-10. I would give anything to even see one...I've always been fascinated with every aspect of that aircraft. I suppose it was reading about the EAL 401 incident in 1972 that peaked my interest.

  • For a commercial geared for US travelers heading to Canada, showing a 767 certainly got their expectations raised...only a few transborder routes every saw them, i.e. PHX/LAX/MIA/FLL in peak winter months, rest of year on DC9/A320 equipment, and today downsized even more to Embraers.

  • LOL.

  • typical

  • when did this aired???

  • The aircraft shown in this TV commercial was a Boeing 767, I think.

  • yes that is a 767-200 series

  • Thanks.

  • @plane700 This is retired aircraft.

  • just absolutely spectacular

  • Excellent vid
