which one lol ..cuz porsche produces to many ...which nissan before the new gtr beats the porsche im talkin about before 2009 ..porsche is a legend and nissan never comes close to porsche ...
I know dude the first car I've ever been was my dads 911 so I was born in a porsche still I have to show respect for nissans new creation which is cheaper and faster than a 91. The older r34 nismo version was also a true enemy for the 911 and don't forgett the r32 which was better than a 911 with less hp. Surely a nissan will never have what a porsche has, racing history, glamour and the looks.
lol, first of all those two would get owned the by the NISSAN, second i bet you cant even afford either of the two cars you mentioned; so stop being a poser and earn your class before you talk like youve already got it.
i agree its a pretty ugly car and i do agree that a manual transmision would be betta but the engine in this is abloustly been redesigned and made alot better from the ground up frm a VQ35 in a 350z, but i would hav preferd if they had stuck with the RB design and made that a 3.8Ltr straight six and improved on a already fonominal engine
the new gt-r is gonna be like just another car in the same class as porsche. the r34 is way cooler. this motor sounds like shit. u might as well just get a 350z and bore it out and twin turbo it. it looks cooler that this ugly ass thing. if they brought the r34 to america it would sell good. it sounds ugly and has the looks to go with it. plus theres no regular manual transmission because people are to lazy to push a clutch and pull or move a knob.
ur like the 1st person to agree with me about that. when the r35 comes out i might get a r34 gt-r imported to america and then ill shoe the r35 owners wats up.
yeah man, good idea. you must be really into skylines, aren´t you? i´m from germany, these cars practically don´t exist here, no chance against porsche, bmw and merc, i´ve only seen one at the nurburgring. japanese turbo engines have a disastrous reputation here, is it really true?
japanese engines are good. ive seen supras and skylines with 700whp on stock internals as daily drivers. i live in california so i dont see many here either. im mainly into hondas but i like most JDM cars. my brothers into euro tuners. hes got a vw golf mark II from germany thats all done up old school style and a new m3 with 532whp.
Yea, that'll be easy (sarcasm being used). You'll definitely show those GT-R owners what's up (sarcasm again being used). What track experience do you have if you don't mind me asking? The only thing I agreed with you is that they should offer a manual tranny, but this dual clutch tranny (DUAL CLUTCH), is for bragging rights and it's overall safer for those novice (and the ones that think they're expert) drivers.
i have been doing time attack events for 7 years now. i noe i may be a little old schooled in terms of trannsmission but i perfer a regular manual over a sequential tranny anyday.
I think the Skyline will end up being a great street car, but the weight gain that a lot of cars are experiencing now really makes a difference in the way they work. Audi's RS4 & new M3 are also guilty. The Z06, Elise and GT3 all are helped by low weight. Anyway, it's good to see another top level enthusiast car on the market. I'm sure the tuners will have a field day with this car!
That footage was not the Nurburgring, and street tires or not, that sure looked like a whole bunch of understeer to me. I've had 12 years of track weekends and races with R-compound tires in various cars, and even those will go away when you put them on a 3900 pound car.
they need a real driver that pathetic

As all Japanese cars, it sounds like a sewing machine on steroids. Honestly, how can a car with such an engine sound so boring???

I doubt a camera and a youtube video can do justice to the car's sound

I would buy this car if it's not by NISSAN.
It feels cheap for a $70k car. I'd rather get a BoxterS or Z4M.

Well, the new GT-R actually does have two turbos. It's a 3,8l V6, producing 480 bhp.

@enigma185 but every car is hand made so we never know how much it goes at bhp and top speed

Lots of power & technology, also lots of weight. At almost 2 tons these things will bake their tires within 5 to 6 laps as a track car.
