  • I want this at my wedding! Ta7ya Tounis!! <3

  • what's strange?

  • it doesn't matter the word strange is not important, I am tunisian and I love our traditionnal wedding, we feel the joy and the hapiness of our family and friend. It is to celebrate a new life.

tunisian wedding are very spécial it is the right word I think.... 7 days days of celebration ... 5 days for the bride and 1 day for the husband sorry guys lol ... and the last day for both twoo ... It symbolises the final union !! :))

enjoy thx for ur lovely comments and u are wlcm to our country

  • @shetsuko Thank you for your great and very kind comment! :)

  • could anyone explain me what there in this ceremony is strange?

  • Hmm perhaps strange isn't the word....for Tunisians and all Arabs this is normal....i understand it's different from what you're expecting but i feel like strange has a negative conotation...

  • Ummm I don't see what is strange.

Western women have the freedom and choice to sleep with whoever they want.

    However, you are being judgemental.

There are many women in the USA who have only one sexual partner, and others who wait until they are married. You watch too much hollywood.

  • 1. I am not an american and I don't live in USA.

    2. I was very suprised about this ceremony in the Hotel. (I travel very much due to my work and I appreciate to explore different cultures and I have never judged them)

    3. I loved this tradition very much. Maybe it was not correctly to call it "strange"

Why have you judge me only because I am interested on different traditions and asked people to explain?

Please, don't think stereotipically, not all are similar, be open-minded!

  • je crois que par strange elle parle des youyou ... zgharit ...

  • tout est normal, moi qui jsuis tunisoise je peux comprends pas ce qui anormal ms bon.

  • at 0:16 ....very strange

focus on the old woman !!!!

    what da hell ?

  • What is strange ?????? everything's fine

  • what is so strange about that? in your country there are men who marry each other thats strange and sick man

  • noting is wrong or strange

    ...get a life..

  • Exactly! I explore the world!

    Be open-minded, too :)

    BG.

  • @saulainais

:D you are nine months late for you reply :D :D

  • It's better later than never ;)

  • @saulainais

    :D

  • What is strange???? I come from Tunisia and I don't say that your traditions are strange... You are strange or you are idiot...

  • For me as a person who was in Tunis for the first time in my life it was rather interesting to become a witness of this tradition... And I don't think it is correctly from your side to judge me for that... That is why I have asked for the help to explain me this beautiful tradition. It is only the discovering of new things and nothing more. Be open-minded and look positively!!!

  • I'm sorry, I understood something else... You know, there is lots of people who critikise other countries or traditions than their and I thought you were somebody like that. I read every comments on this page and know I understand.

I recognize my mistake and tell you that I'm sorry.

    Have a nice day!

  • but can you tell us what is wrong in this video we want to understand not more!!!!

  • but it is not strange ....

they are just going to the ceremonial hall...

  • Why do you say strange wedding?

Don't you think you are maybe strange???

Its a beautiful wedding...and besides you ahve no right to label others as strange.

If you have to race opinion ...if not good....keep it to yourself dear. Just friendly piece of advice. No offence

  • Hey, I don't think the poster meant to offend anybody, just the sound"zaaghreet" sounded like nothing he ever heard.

  • if you don,t know some countries traditions you shouldn,t call it strange when you see one otherwise you ll be strange yourself!!!

  • It is beautiful Tunisian Tradition and was done with joy and celebration at my wedding. I love TUNISIA and all that it means. Is the most peaceful country I ever been in!!!

  • I agree. Tunisia is very nice country. I loved it very much. Thank you for your nice comment :)

  • hehe I was wondering what's so strange... haha.. you mean the zagareet....

  • haha same

  • it is from the North - from Tunis.

  • it's from north or south side of tunisia?

  • hehe

    im a tusian girl, too.

    realy its sound like indians

  • ANDY2TUN, it is the voice... it seems very interesting tradition, especially for Europeans :)

  • I wanted to know what's strange about it!!!

  • thanks for this post. I love to hear Zahgareet; it greets me when I visit my husband's family in Tunisia.

  • Really - I didn't know about this.. Thank you for your explanation! ;) peace

  • i dont see whats is strange in this wedding the what u called yhe voice accmpainemnt means the womens are happy its because its a tradition in north africa and the arabic world.

  • Maybe somebody knows the meaning of this "voice accompaniment"???

  • YES ITS THE YOUYOU
