I read that the City Council are pushing to get the eastern section of the disused Outer Loop line from Hunts Cross to Walton on Merseyrail, then have both clubs located on the fast line. Having both stadiums anywhere on the line with large stations means access & exit is fast and less congestion. It all makes sense. The line can also be used to serve the eastern part of the city bringing it more into the city and reducing car usage.
and people in kirkby saying they are against it need their heads testing. the only ones against it seem to be the retired who dont want anyone else to have a job or the career unempleyed who would have no excuses not to work again. how many people do you think live in anfield or everton a both places have 40k+ stadia in them so your argument is floored right away.
its not about keeping everton in the city. its about investment in your club, which, lets face it, is non-existant. the everton group against moving have now made your club a poison challice. they've just cost the biggest supermarket chain in britain millions of pounds so who in their right mind will touch you now?
Mickey Blue Eyes supporting Kirkby when he knows without a shadow of a doubt the problems surrounding the whole application not just the boundary issue. I had more faith in him than that. Goodison cannot be redeveloped - what a disgraceful lie. I wonder if Ian Ross is an Evertonian.
There are always options.
Why have we got into bed with Tesco and Sir Philip Green - because they want their shopping centre.
This is about retail not EFC and its history, heritage and future. NO TO KIRKBY.
refurbish goodison, as the fella said a 55,000 rising up to a 65,000 seater can't work in a town with an infastrucutre of 38,000 people cant work and wont work

Liverpool may have 0.5 mil but Merseyside is 1.5.

Well done lads, great work on the production etc. Bit more 'personality' in the monologue parts and it could easy pass as pro. Well in.

Piss off Ian Ross, id give him loads of stick but the fact is he is just a puppet for Kenwright and his gang of cronies in the boardroom.

Great film lads.
It'd be great to redevelop Goodison, but look what they did to the Park end? That could have been made a lot better, with more seats.
I'm all for progress - if it wasn't for that we'd still be living in fucking caves
