Flamingo Oasis is the best hotel I have ever been to, been there 5 times now and wouldn't go anywhere else. We went for the upgrade it was just excellent, you have a lounge bar with all the proper drinks, roof pool, beatiful sunloungers where no kids are allowed, beautiful bedrooms, walk-in shower with separate airetone bath, what more could you ask for, simply the best. Don't know what hotel all these moaning people were at.
My stay was rubbish.The people next to us was doing drugs the poll was shut 3 times coz osmeone smashed there head someone drowned and someone puked in it.There was little kids running everywhere the elivators didnt work so we had to carry our luggage up 23 flights of stairs and it was too hot.I will never goback

well we must have stayed a different week than you coz a 5 yr old pushed his sister in and she smashed her head and someone dorwned then someone puked and i didnt say anyine was to blame so i dk what ur saying and no its not somthing to moan about some bits were still good like mundomar and aqua land.
We are going to this Hotel on Tuesday (04/08), a bit worried after seing some of the videos, the sunbed issue looks mad! Not so sure this will be good for my 5 and 1 year old!!!
water parks not that far away. really great day out we had there, lots to do for all ages. went to mundomar a few years back and that was good too. anything else you want to know just message me :)
the bar across the road from the hotel called "the corner bar" had a really nice atmosphere. waitresses are english and very friendly. wouldn't go back there though as the bookie ripped us of 20 euros when placing a bet and when confronted about it said u only gave us 5 euros. said we wouldn't be back and he just said "bye". cheek!
as for the food it's nothing special and the bar and waiting staff aren't very friendly whereas the maids are great - very friendly and helpful. wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone (not trying to put you off) as it's supposedly going downhill.
seen a lot of people complaining so we done the same and were told we'd be given money back for each day we were there. the "bed dash" is quite bad, watched it from the balcony whilst other members of our party were down getting loungers.
we were told by this time next year thomson will be running 99% of the hotel. also, the sun terrace on the 25th floor is out of bounds unless you're in a club suite. said they mailed us but we didn't find out until we arrived in the hotel when there was a sign at reception saying "as of the 1 of may 2009 only club members allowed on sun terrace."
eek! i'm off there soon - i'm really worried - trip advisor and thomson did a really good job of selling it but all these "true" videos are making me worried! and from what i've seen i agree it doesn't look 4 star although the reception area looks fab - i'm really worried about the stampede for the sun loungers? do u think i need to up my life insurance? what more can you tell ?
