Anime is still extremely popular. Adult Swim keeps airing it at like 4 or 5 in the morning. Then they take it off completely saying the rating are going down. That's cuz nobody is going to stay up that late to watch Inuyasha, Case Closed, Bleach etc. A good example of VIZ stupidity is when they Americanized the names of characters like Shinichi-Jimmy and Mouri-Moore.

I do slightly disagree with how it's the same as it was when it was on CN. There's much more edited out. A slight hunch as to another reason why CN wouldn't want Naruto back is because it KILLED it's ratings with the fillers at the end of the series. I, and alot of others, stopped watching. Shippuden is now in a filler arc, and if it had come on CN again, this is what they would have been afraid of. But look guys, if you don't like it, watch it here on YT! You're here anyway.

Also, one thing i know about edits is that people pay more attention to the edits than the uncut version. for example, everyone thought mr. popo wasn't racist until toonzai turned mr. popo blue. no one ever looked at mr. popo being racist. so overall, something being edited is more worse than being uncut. kids are smarter than u think, so they will try to find out whats being edited rather than it being left alone.

I'm a teen girl from Mex and i watch Naruto uncensored, unedited, and in Eng sub. I can tell you its a great anime and it deserves to be on Tv but seriously...we all know Naruto is a series for older teens. And even though i watch it it doesnt affect me in any way at all.
So, Naruto cannot be on Disney! there is a lot of violence and sexual themes. If they put it on Disney they will edit so much that no one will know wats happening.

It's hard to take Shippuden seriously when trained killers use sharp weapons and never spill a drop of blood (Hidan vs Asuma?). IMMERSION.

Anime is still extremely popular. Adult Swim keeps airing it at like 4 or 5 in the morning. Then they take it off completely saying the rating are going down. That's cuz nobody is going to stay up that late to watch Inuyasha, Case Closed, Bleach etc. A good example of VIZ stupidity is when they Americanized the names of characters like Shinichi-Jimmy and Mouri-Moore.
Oh, and for the record. Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes had plenty of guns and blood in it, yet my parents and I werent affected

I do slightly disagree with how it's the same as it was when it was on CN. There's much more edited out. A slight hunch as to another reason why CN wouldn't want Naruto back is because it KILLED it's ratings with the fillers at the end of the series. I, and alot of others, stopped watching. Shippuden is now in a filler arc, and if it had come on CN again, this is what they would have been afraid of. But look guys, if you don't like it, watch it here on YT! You're here anyway.

Also, one thing i know about edits is that people pay more attention to the edits than the uncut version. for example, everyone thought mr. popo wasn't racist until toonzai turned mr. popo blue. no one ever looked at mr. popo being racist. so overall, something being edited is more worse than being uncut. kids are smarter than u think, so they will try to find out whats being edited rather than it being left alone.

Neo, I have a response to you saying, "Kids nowadays don't want to see blood." I'm 12, and I've seen a lot of blood. And blood would make Naruto Shippuden more realistic. If you cut your finger off, would'nt there be blood spewing? I have no problem with Naruto being on Disney, but I I watch the subbed version on vizanime.com. I'm just happy that Naruto Shippuden is finally in the U.S, after waiting 2 years for it. I wonder how it would've been if Jetix was still there.

See.. i know how it went. the MAIN reason why naruto got cancelled because the soccer moms. Its simple... they should've told their sons or daughters not to watch violent shows. they tried to hide that and instead put the blame on naruto instead of themselves. as grown as they are, they cant show responsibility for themselves and now we're suffering from their stupidity. thats why we have people like NeoGameSpark telling us we're selfish for something that isn't our fault!

Naruto shippuden is Weak on Disney XD they shouldve put it on Adult Swim with Bleach. Naruto is now cut and screwed by Disney you cant make a violent show kid friendly if you want kid friendly they couldve put barney on disney. If children wanted to see the blood and the cursing they would just go online and watch Naruto. My point is just keep it original and disney would make more money that way

when naruto on toonami it still had blood BUT, not as much. so the XD version of shippuden isn't like the toonami version of original naruto HOWEVER we at least have it back on TV. I just watch the uncut version on naruto.com :P

1: Logically speaking, People are not being selfish by expecting Naruto Shippuden to come to CN. It began on CN in the US so its justified that some would expect Shippuden to do the same.
2: There is no "TV 12", do the research young man.

1: I wouldn't say it's selfish, but CN chose to not but the rights to the show back, so people never should have complained about that anyway, but they did. That is pretty stupid if you ask me. Disney just made a smart investment.
