Did Vagabond get shot down? He seemed to dissapear from your com frequency thing right after he said "We got company". Owch.
At random points, the people you pick will get shot down. It is in the order of who you pick, so if a particular wingman is chosen as the last one, he'll make it thru the mission the longest.
