Georgia CPS decided to use me as a test subject for mental health drugs when I was 7. Because, I did not freak out when my parents divorced. Those "medications" they forced down my throat has led to Schizoaffective disorder. Before those bastards got their hands on me I was a Normal 7 year old. I cannot afford medical care so I am forced to deals with this on my own. If not for my loving wife, I would have died a long time ago.

I was taken from my mother and was abused in foster homes for 3 years until I came to live with my uncle. The reason for my being taken away was 'a messy house' and 'failure to comply with dfcs worker' My mother didn't show up to the meeting because I had a fever of 105 degrees and she was taking care of me at home, which they labeled as neglect. Well if you handle a report the same as a police report you can not interview or conduct a search without a warrant/court order/probable cause. I do not trust CPS at all. Me and my sister almost got taken away by those people. We never got abused or neglected my parents are good parents and it was because of one fight between my parents that CPS had to go crazy and was at our house everyday asking us a whole bunch of questions and we almost got taken away. They wouldnt let my mom come back to the house for like 7 months. I do not trust these people and no one should.

Can you hear us now, CPS? Children need to be with their parents unless clear evidence of repeated abuse exists -- this principle is the best way to err on the side of protecting the child. The CPS way is to err on the side of covering their hind-ends and increasing their funding through child placements away from their homes and families. @Sliepnir2006 I find it hard to believe what you say, that the child was removed from the mother because of health care, seeing how Health care is free for children under 18 and is provided by the state and federal gov't when you cant afford it. Theres IEHP, WIC, Healthy Families etc. The child was not abused, tortured and starved because a Family placement social worker would have done his weekly visits on the child and would have picked up on any signs of abuse

Emergency Removal is ONLY allowed if there is evidence of such imminent danger and or exigent circumstance(s)relating to your children.only when there is physical danger to the child.Emergent removal by law allow it when it is a danger to the physical health and the need for such a non-court order removal is SO urgent there is no time to procure a court order/hence NO NEED to obtain one.

Social workers according to State University website for Education and Training with Advanced degrees states that the Salary Median for social workers is $34,820 per year GROSS. To become a CPS worker as mandated by the federal government you need a Bachelors degree with a major related to the field to be allowed removal or placement of children. So in other words its one of the lowest paid 4 year school jobs. The Federal government does not give bonuses.
@beenerkillz you do NOT need a bachelor's degree to be a social worker, i know SEVERAL who don't have one... it takes very little training to get a job as one, and most of the ppl hired are young college kids who haven't got a clue how the real world works... You can be an assistant to a social worker but you cannot investigate, this is federally mandated so your wrong. With a bachelors you need to train for a minimum of 3 years. If you have any savings I reccomend moving to Russia or Eastern Europe, families are protected there and grants are given to big families to encourage more children being born. Also record EVERYTHING you say to a cps worker or even in their presence. They write what they want & leave out what they want. CPS took my now 5 year old son in October 2008.They investigated me because he was in the car when I was arrested for a larceny charge that I was later found innocent for. Even though the court later dismissed the charge, I was investigated. They came to my home, found a clean house, a fridge full of food, and a bedroom full of toys and books.However, because i admitted that I was on methadone for heroin addiction, they took my son, even though they drug tested me and I was clean!
I noticed many people wouldn't believe that CPS really unjustly kidnaps children and knew with this story of the FLDS ranch all over the news would at least make more people know the truth. And it's about the federal funding money they recieve for each child they put in foster care! It's not about children at all. Sometimes they're put in foster homes that really are abusive, and they turn their heads. Why? It's about money. They more kids they take, the more money they get.

They are basically after low income families who would find it hard to get a good lawyer. My children were taken from me because I ended up in a wheelchair and CPS said that I wasn't able to watch them because of this and it resulted in me being accused of NEGLECT ! I don't drink or do drugs, I never beat them, they weren't sexually abused but none of that matters.
It took CPS 3 years of trying everything they could to finally get my children. All it takes is someone calling in a Lie.
@WestFamily3 I know what you mean. All it takes is a call from someone wanting to cause trouble. CPS used to just come check it out, and if everything looked fine, they left. But now any accusation to take children means big money. They don't care what the truth is. My daughters 6 children were adopted out. The social workers would say, "I can't take care of 6 kids, so how can she?" Just because social workers are incapable of it doesn't mean everyone is. Some women are very good at it.
a largely problematic factor is that most of our dealings are with civil matters and that leaves room for error due to subjectivity. i have worked there for over two years now, don't be ignorant and say that CPS is evil, just like there are corrupt policemen and businessmen, there will be corrupt CPS workers. w extremely low rates of compensation for such a demanding, stressful job, you will have that! personally, i sleep well knowing that i always do my very BEST for the children i serve...
@2242bzo Hard to do when they show up with cops and if you resist they arrest you. If you resist enough you will go to jail for killing a cop and or a cps worker and that just makes their case against you even stronger.
When people in the military do it it is considered "heroic" but if a citizen dies for something they believe in we are taught that its "suicidal" and "crazy". Get yourself out of that mindset, if we must then we must.
CPS are corrupted and want to destroy the family structure. Who investigates the Cps and court system who supports them. They disrespect your freedom and your home and contitutional rights. They are the criminals. I've seen them with my own eyes. They will tell the judge a lie to court to make themselves look so great. They have a hidden agenda and truly do not care about the children. They just want the little pay check until they find a job higher up in Law or law enforcement.
I was lucky that I still have my littel girl. Last year I had sombody call CPS on us and I was not home so the case worker left me a letter and then i called them back. Yes i was very upset about it but I did get right back to them and I think that helped me. she did come into our home and was abel to watch us with Riley who was two at the time and saw that she was not abused. all the case worker told us to do was to get the special door locks and fridge lock and we would be fine. we did that.

Georgia CPS decided to use me as a test subject for mental health drugs when I was 7. Because, I did not freak out when my parents divorced. Those "medications" they forced down my throat has led to Schizoaffective disorder. Before those bastards got their hands on me I was a Normal 7 year old. I cannot afford medical care so I am forced to deals with this on my own. If not for my loving wife, I would have died a long time ago.

I was taken from my mother and was abused in foster homes for 3 years until I came to live with my uncle. The reason for my being taken away was 'a messy house' and 'failure to comply with dfcs worker' My mother didn't show up to the meeting because I had a fever of 105 degrees and she was taking care of me at home, which they labeled as neglect. The messy house was due to my sister's birthday party 2 days beforehand. I have been emotionally scarred by CPS.

cps is like that in western NY 2 they used things against me like not taking meds for things I don't have. 10 day meds only half gone after 5 days. clean dishes in the strainer and laundry folded in baskets. no matter what i did they chalked it up as not cooperating. every tiny little thing was an excuse to say i wasn't doing as i was told.and to make it worse 10 yrs later people threaten to turn me in just to make me do what they want.here you can't find a lawyer to fight them

I am a student of social work and one of the things they tell us is that you are required to report "abuse" to CPS, it's mandatory. If a child is taken by the cps, the child undergoes a series of tests, if the child passes then it is micro-chipped (in fact, all children taken by cps are micro-chipped) and is given a path in life that when followed, will lead to a career in the military, police force, or a government agency.

My child was misdiagnosed with failure to thrive and we were threatened by social worker to have her taken away. Fortunately another doctor and specialist sent documents to DHS stating she did not have failure to thrive. Well if you handle a report the same as a police report you can not interview or conduct a search without a warrant/court order/probable cause. Sorry some children in real danger may not be saved in time but Im tired of agencies worm holing our constitution and breaking the law using perceived bias and zealous laws. The children that really need help are in 3rd world countries! The state needs to get out of the business of manufacturing morality and creating criminals out of innocent people.

Grew up with siblings, we beat the daylights out of each other, in growing-up tuff in going to school with black eyes & blacken-blues as badge of honor, it was then, never an issue. Heard story from a person, now deceased, about a kid that had a brawl with another on a Saturday, come following Monday, school was involved, allegedly someone paid a visit to the principal’s house just before day break, story goes that the principal wasn’t happy about unannounced old-school visitor, matter dropped.

I have no comment on this family's personal case. I do not have knowledge. But the same old tired story about CPS removing the FLDS children as questionable? I find it fascinating that now, since all is said and done on the CPS side, no one is pointing out that out of the five men tried, there has been a 100% conviction rate.

I do not trust CPS at all. Me and my sister almost got taken away by those people. We never got abused or neglected my parents are good parents and it was because of one fight between my parents that CPS had to go crazy and was at our house everyday asking us a whole bunch of questions and we almost got taken away. They wouldnt let my mom come back to the house for like 7 months. I do not trust these people and no one should.

You know it isnt child protection anymore. It is parental protection in missouri. i turned in a father. he smokes weed, his daughter fell and broke her collar bone, he refused to take her to the doctor, his oldest daughter said that he hits her. they haven't seen a dentist in 2 years. their school said they needed to see a dentist. yet when cps went there on two different cases, they have said theclaims were substantiated. take kids from those who parent. leave them with abusers

Can you hear us now, CPS? Children need to be with their parents unless clear evidence of repeated abuse exists -- this principle is the best way to err on the side of protecting the child. The CPS way is to err on the side of covering their hind-ends and increasing their funding through child placements away from their homes and families. This is criminal intent and grounds to put the entire CPS crew in jail and throw away the key. CPS abuse will continue until they are stopped.

@Sliepnir2006 I find it hard to believe what you say, that the child was removed from the mother because of health care, seeing how Health care is free for children under 18 and is provided by the state and federal gov't when you cant afford it. Theres IEHP, WIC, Healthy Families etc. The child was not abused, tortured and starved because a Family placement social worker would have done his weekly visits on the child and would have picked up on any signs of abuse

Ah a system freak, well, I have full evidence of abuse which has taken place in this adoptive home in Missouri. Care for the name and address of the adoptive parents?, maybe you could contact them for themselves.
Sonja spent 5 years finding her daughter, whilst she still retained care of her two other children, there was systemic abuse going on in this household and still is. CPS for there part chose to ignore it.

Yes it does break the 4th amendment, as well as the fifth amendment. I also find the protective order a gross abuse of our rights. How can you take people's rights away without due process. Not charge you with anything but if you have a gun they are taking it. Emergency Removal is ONLY allowed if there is evidence of such imminent danger and or exigent circumstance(s)relating to your children.only when there is physical danger to the child.Emergent removal by law allow it when it is a danger to the physical health and the need for such a non-court order removal is SO urgent there is no time to procure a court order/hence NO NEED to obtain one.

Social workers according to State University website for Education and Training with Advanced degrees states that the Salary Median for social workers is $34,820 per year GROSS. To become a CPS worker as mandated by the federal government you need a Bachelors degree with a major related to the field to be allowed removal or placement of children. So in other words its one of the lowest paid 4 year school jobs. The Federal government does not give bonuses.

@beenerkillz you do NOT need a bachelor's degree to be a social worker, i know SEVERAL who don't have one... it takes very little training to get a job as one, and most of the ppl hired are young college kids who haven't got a clue how the real world works... CPS IS given bonuses, they get one just for removing a child from the home, and thousands more for adopting them out... you should really educate yourself on this... watch don't mess with texas CPS, and look up nancy schaefer to start

@xXaudraXannXx no I agree you do not need a bachelors degree, in most counties u need a masters degree to even answer the phone for emergency hotline. You can be an assistant to a social worker but you cannot investigate, this is federally mandated so your wrong. With a bachelors you need to train for a minimum of 3 years. All of this is online on the federal website for minimum requirements I can't believe u don't know this. Your beliefs does not make something fact.

CPS Is corrupt , whatever anyone else thinks, I have seen this happen and I have felt and heard the tears of those who have been broken by their manipulation.
CPS not only lie in court, they manufacture evidence and this has been proven many times. They represent a clear danger to children and I have no doubt that many of them who work in the field are no less than child abusers themselves. Though not all by any means.

If you have any savings I reccomend moving to Russia or Eastern Europe, families are protected there and grants are given to big families to encourage more children being born. This country is done for the family, unless you can teach your children that these people are evil and are out to hurt them and not to divulge any information to them. CPS also promotes vaccinating children which cause autism aka mercury poisoning.

The UK and the US along with most of Europe operate the same system and Germany has also had similar problems as has Denmark, the Fran Lyon case alone not taking into account Sally Clark should tell you to keep away from Britain.
Our country even seized an elderly mother from her adult daughter.

Also record EVERYTHING you say to a cps worker or even in their presence. They write what they want & leave out what they want. In place of what they leave out they insert their own thoughts & opinions. Whether you sign it or not, they will not change it nor state your disagreement, & the judge sees that report. CPS took my now 5 year old son in October 2008.They investigated me because he was in the car when I was arrested for a larceny charge that I was later found innocent for. Even though the court later dismissed the charge, I was investigated. They came to my home, found a clean house, a fridge full of food, and a bedroom full of toys and books.However, because i admitted that I was on methadone for heroin addiction, they took my son, even though they drug tested me and I was clean!

I noticed many people wouldn't believe that CPS really unjustly kidnaps children and knew with this story of the FLDS ranch all over the news would at least make more people know the truth. And it's about the federal funding money they recieve for each child they put in foster care! It's not about children at all. Sometimes they're put in foster homes that really are abusive, and they turn their heads. Why? It's about money. They more kids they take, the more money they get.

They are basically after low income families who would find it hard to get a good lawyer. My children were taken from me because I ended up in a wheelchair and CPS said that I wasn't able to watch them because of this and it resulted in me being accused of NEGLECT ! I don't drink or do drugs, I never beat them, they weren't sexually abused but none of that matters.
It took CPS 3 years of trying everything they could to finally get my children. All it takes is someone calling in a Lie.

@WestFamily3 I know what you mean. All it takes is a call from someone wanting to cause trouble. CPS used to just come check it out, and if everything looked fine, they left. But now any accusation to take children means big money. They don't care what the truth is. My daughters 6 children were adopted out. The social workers would say, "I can't take care of 6 kids, so how can she?" Just because social workers are incapable of it doesn't mean everyone is. Some women are very good at it.

a largely problematic factor is that most of our dealings are with civil matters and that leaves room for error due to subjectivity. i have worked there for over two years now, don't be ignorant and say that CPS is evil, just like there are corrupt policemen and businessmen, there will be corrupt CPS workers. w extremely low rates of compensation for such a demanding, stressful job, you will have that! personally, i sleep well knowing that i always do my very BEST for the children i serve...

I was lucky that I still have my littel girl. Last year I had sombody call CPS on us and I was not home so the case worker left me a letter and then i called them back. Yes i was very upset about it but I did get right back to them and I think that helped me. she did come into our home and was abel to watch us with Riley who was two at the time and saw that she was not abused. all the case worker told us to do was to get the special door locks and fridge lock and we would be fine. we did that.
