Very interesting... looks they were built like the Seeburg Tormat units - to withstand a nuclear blast as the joke goes... I imagine they had in mind these things could get some very rough handling. COOL Seeburg in the clip like yours! Nope you won't be wearing out this projector anytime soon, doubt it's possible

Typical Joint Army Navy gear. I find old JAN radio equipment at ham swap meets and it is always buit like a tank!
