One question: I sometimes feel like I am independent/separated from my body. As if I was something/someone apart of my body... I sometimes feel y body is not mine... I know it sounds strange but it is real. Is this what he means? Thanks in advanced for any feedback.
@caviper1 Who is feeling independent from the body, and who is saying this is MY body? You see, you are not the body, the body is an object, and who is aware of all this contemplation?
@caviper1 The short answer is No....It is beyond/behind/aware of/prior to all that.
It's about where we rest our identity, an experiential self enquiry to recognise what is the 'I' in our existence.
The problem with asking questions of folks via messages is that answers you receive may not be your own direct experience, which is the whole point of enquiry- and can lead to mental confusion.
I thoroughly recommend exploring Mooji videos if something is resonating with you. :) Namaste x
Earlier than I...that is very interesting, he may be referring to The Absolute. That which existed before creation and Creators, that which has always been without beginning.
I'm a bit worried because I've been using these exact methods of self inquirey and it's led to a kind of mental stalemate, I can't think, my thinking is fragmented, multiple thought identities arise so I don't even know what I'm thinking. I understand how it's meant to work - no, it can't be observed, but that doesn't get rid of the ego sense, it's as though it's just fragmented the ego. My mind doesn't open into a spacious awareness, it's more of an agitated stillness, suppressed, still stuck.
That's happened to me too, the key is to not try too hard or to wrestle with your self in meditation trying to focus on breath or whatever your focus be. The key when you are so splintered like such (which I've had ample experience with) is more so to simply let be. Seek to meditate more relaxingly and let it all simply be, gradually things resettle and rearrange themselves coherently on their own. Don't force this process, it occurs virtually fully on its own.

@Tazer05 eventualy you will be left worn out from frantic thoughts and staring at a wall. maybe trying to give a meaningless moment meaning. the best thing to do is have a good laugh. make a sandwhich. and eat it.
@Tazer05 I know what you mean, but just sit back a bit and realise something is aware that you are experiencing all these mental states, you are that awareness.
Just be that, let the thoughts come and go dont give energy to them just watch and realise you are the watcher, eventually you get to understand that and it deepens even in activity, its called stillness, awareness.
mind is a bundle of thoughts, there is no mind, no ego , just the idea of it.
Nothing is watching, and that which informs me of the watching nothing, is itself nothing. I now accept that everything in my awakened state is the same nothing that existed when I was asleep. I float in the joy of watching myself and the World in my World while at the sametime taking part in the nothing that is our existence.
knowing nothing is not hard, it is letting go of everything that is the challange.
So your saying Jesus and Buddha were Rastaman? "Rastaman" is just another name that would confuse people and cause another "religion" and dogma. So it is best to leave terminology out of it.
In the Japanese culture the 'belly' or the 'Hara' is where the soul resides... hence, have you ever had a 'gut' feeling? Let the 'I' obseverve that... then connect with it!
Question: has this way of looking upon life its roots in hinduism, and does the path we obviously have to walk imply yoga, mantrameditation aso. It seems to me that we cannot find this path on our own hand, but need some serious help. Can anyone explain?!?
You don't need neither yoga nor mantrameditation to get somewhere there you already are. Even believing in Hinduism doesn't take you any where. What he is talking about is beyond religion and even beyond that what we call "myself". Meditation and certain thoughts might help you to get to a certain level of presence, by removing a big deal of thought but as soon as them becoming a thoughtstructure you can identify with, you become unaware once again.
I think my statement puzzled you a bit. If this is the case I can calm you, what ever you do, you think or you don't understand in the area of spirituallity it doesn't matter. Enlightment is about removing all of your thought structures. The single thought stil exists for being able to life and earning your lifings but the "I" that wants that is greedy gets lost.
If you can, don't stick to religions nor to my words, they are both just thoughts and thoughts are what we don't want be identified with

just0408 2 years ago
No he isn't. "Rastaman" would be a concept. What he speaks about is beyond concepts.

a true Rastaman is likewise. 'Rastaman' is just an name to identify such a people.. dreadlocks is a mark..

HeyWakeUpPeople 2 years ago
It is "God" not Rastaman. That is a truer statement. It is the state of God.
HeyWakeUpPeople 2 years ago
It is also what "Jesus", "Buddha" and a lot of other sages have spoken about.
