you're right, but sometimes it's impossible to tune the G- string of an electric guitar, It just always sounds out of tune. I used to have the same problem with my epiphone les pauls custom and I think there are many more people with the same problem with their electric guitar Great cover by the way!

its not the most difficult song, but its not easy either. They are a lot of nuanced sounds in there which make it very intricate and a bit tricky to play, especially at the bridge.

You wouldn't know this unless you knew how to play the song, or you had a good ear for music... neither of which I think are true in your case.
