Perhaps japanese cars have a decent enough suspension not to make their cars wheelie.

*Leaf springs are meant for farming vehicles,.

*Double whishbone and mcpherson are for performance cars.

I don't want to argue about muscle vs import as an Opel corsa 1.0litre owns both as it comes to going for groceries.

V8's a great and so are imports!

I myself drive an Euro civic type-R 200hp stock, it sure isn't the fastest car around, but damn fun to drive!

@Sweetearthslug thats it mate any dohc vtec car is an absolute joy to drive, being able to drive around like a granny when ur tired or just nipping about town with the family, its so smooth and safe...that alone is a fantastic car, but the fact that at any moment of your choice u can instantaniously transform your car into a pure blooded race car is amazing... it pisses me off wen folk talk about waiting for the vtec.!

@Codythecartaker civics have got plenty of torque if u drive them properly, thats the whole point of vtec... good mpg at low revs, sufficient torque at mid revs and bhp at high revs, people think hondas have no torque...they will cruise happily keeping up momentum even up hill... they wont accelerate well using torque tho so u have to drop a gear or 2 in order to use bhp. u should check out the new nsx specs... thats got unbelievable power and torque...honda engines are best in the world

its only a 1.6 or 1.8 engine even with a turbo it wont guzzle up more than a stock say supra..thats one of the advantages of vtecs they keep up to v8s and consume half the fuel
