Apple is kinda tricky with the so called "refurbished" iPods, it kinda makes me feel like they're trying to pull a fast one on me. But, I liked your vid. ( I'm going through the same thing as you, but w/ an ipod touch my ipod had a full battery, so I shut it off and the next day, it wouldn't turn on what so ever. So, I tried the home and power button trick (that had absolutely no effect), then I tried restoring it via iTunes, but my ipod didn't even show in itunes.

@PyRoMaNiiAk best buy suck, if you ever have software or hardware problems (headphone jack doesnt work, speakers dont work) stuff like that, apple will replace it within the first year, but the damage cant be from you dropping it or water damage, so in your case, take it to the apple store and tell them your situation ,90% they will give you a new one, and tell them that you did restore it and have it on the latest firmware, ive gotten two iphones nd ipod replaced like that

@sk8boy7795 well apple care doesnt cover cracks and cosmetic damage only if something internally goes wrong or software wise then you;ll get a replacement and just take you sim out, just make sure that it isn't jailbroken when u take it if u do have it jailbroken

Yeah. Refurbished doesn't always mean bad. I used to return my iPods before my year was up and make up excuses of what was wrong with it, just to get a scratch free one. I'm sure there are people doing similar things with their iPhones.

yeah dude i traded some kid for a used ipod touch and ended up getting 'ripped off' because the power button was super sensitive so it was pretty much useless but it was still under warranty so i called apple and they told to me to restore it. i told them i did but didn't even make an attempt at restoring it and told apple that and within 6 days of that call i sent in my old itouch and they sent me a refurbished one for no cost at all

Also, there are like 6 pixels in a cluster that are all gray; they've been like that for a while. Assuming you didn't get a new one yet, your Apple Store employee might be nice enough to replace it for you. Light bleeding is by far the most common problem and they will be familiar with it. However, there might be a chance that they will refuse your request because they think light is bleeding because your screen is damaged. Most Apple Store employees aren't mean though. You have a solid chance in getting a new one.

They will VERY LIKELY replace it as long as the phone has not been exposed to any water. (The water sensor inside the headphone jack is NOT half red)
