I consider Megaman X4 a more darker side of the story. Because Megaman X is confused about his choices of taking out reploids, and Zero's actions. I wished the characters were more developed, but it is still a good game.

@BlueWolfLight it's really dark cause everyone dies dragon robot in the beginning , 8 bosses, colonel, iris/double sigma, then the general. in that order too.

The theme is so sad, yet motivating two ideologies are bashing at each other. The love for Zero and the idea for an indepedent reploid society. In a nutshell is Love vs Freedom. Sadly, Iris choose freedom this choice was based on a political ideology fueled by deception.
