there are only a handful of people in the world and in history who can tell a story through music alone, and Mozart is one of those people. I myself do not know Italian, but I can follow the story just as well as if I had been speaking the language all my life.
It's incredibly beautiful.

Ferruccio Furlanetto is the best!! All the cast is excellent: Thomas Allen, Dawn Upshaw!!
That's a very good interpretation and I like even scenes, costumes and direction.
Who's the conductor?

I've immediately rated 5*****
I'm always touched by hearing the COMPLETE opera by my CD's (several performances) and DVD.
I've bought last week a new 3 CD album again. Recorded 1968, with Gundula Janowitz and Edit Mathis .
