vultures are from hell and need to die

  • That big bird to the right at 2:40, I fucking hate that bird, it has such a disgusting appearance.

  • the narration is so fucking stupid

  • so what do ya wanna do tonight then?

  • @castlekingside28 Eh! Now don't start that again!

  • if it wasn't for Vultures we'd have a big fuckin mess on our hands I personally love em

  • Free for all

  • Haha! Vultures rock.

  • Vultures are the fucking grim reaper. Awesome.

  • How I wish I could FLY (and airplanes don't count)

  • I'm going to savanna NOT EXETED

  • The narrator guy is unbelievably annoying. Is this clip from a kids' wildlife show?

  • Real talk thy lions buff as fuck lmao

  • thank you

  • did anyone know vultures cANT DRINK WATER????

  • those fuckin pussies!

  • @jjeessssiiccaaxx Hey! I admire them.. I watch this instead of porn.

  • @jjeessssiiccaaxx hey they'v goto eat to and they dont have the advantage of being a big fucking lion

  • @Graveguard1992 actually there are lots of animals that are small and they kill their preys. Not only lions kill. Owls for example..

  • My daughter's name is Savanna. It's sounds beautiful when you say it or hear it.

  • Savanna is a very beautiful name. I got a friend named Savanna, your daughter is lucky!

    Greetings!

  • savannah stern <3

  • i cant forget the name savannah, that was may girl friends name i really love saying savannah when i fuck here...its really sounds good...!

  • She must be fat, since the savanna is a HUGE expanse of land.

  • the lion is like "fuckin hyenas"

the hyenas are like "fuckin vultures"

  • @jabinx the people are like "fuckin animals" lol

  • I agree! Very condescending. (can't believe people put you 3 thumbs down.)

  • They are just trying to make the narrative interesting for their audience. I find it quite didactic, specially for kids.

  • How do vultures manage to eat rancid meat and not get sick? We would die if we ate that.

  • I don't think they actually eat rotting carcasses. There was an episode of Man v. Wild and he said that if you see vultures eating it, you know it's pretty fresh. He then proceeded to gnaw on a dead zebra.

  • Vultures have very very strong stomach acids that kill most toxic diseases. They also go in the sun to kill the diseases on there neck.

  • of course they develop physical mechinism to fight diseases and sickness...

just watch meerkat maanor who eats scorpion or even small snakes...

  • Yes........otherwise they never would have survived in that environment. But scorpions and snakes are sterile...they are not disease carriers.........I was talking about rancid meat containing anthrax and toxoplasmosis.

  • ur right^^

But i heard that many of these amazing animals are being poisoned by local farmers in africa(Kenya) using a pesticide(FMC corporation) but already banned in USA but still rampant in kenya.

  • @stegaflaps Because their stomach acid is very strong and their inner ecosystem bacteria can process it. Another reason the hyenas won't go near the vulture is because they throw up at their attacker, that would be very uncomfortable for them.

  • that lion was pretty slick

  • vultures are pretty cool and provide a good service, they are just misunderstood.

  • The narrator really bugs me. Those vultures are awesome though

  • Hyenas losing to vultures???

  • poor lion

  • lo0l poor antilope thing

  • ´Cleanup squadron´ blah blah

    Political correct nonsense.

  • its amazing how verocious the Brunetti is while feeding

  • They're really quite amazing animals. They can finish off what other animals leave behind, which is a good thing. It stops disease spreading and vultures are immune to a lot of diseases! If there were no vultures than rats would take over and that would be a really bad thing

If that was a male lion then the hyenas wouldn't have even bothered attempting that, correct me if I'm wrong. Hyenas always work so well in packs, but shame one of them didn't keep an eye on the dinner lol

  • how about bbqing a tiger or lion? these would not provide much meat.

  • look how beautiful they lift in the air,.

  • "1st Air-borne division of the Serengeti Clean-Up Squadron"

    xD

  • This is the "REAL WALL-E" dudes this is the animal that cleans the environment and leftovers from the rest. Without them there would be a lot of trash, in this case the ugliest bird ends up to be the Winner of all.

  • I actually think this is the most attractive type of vulture. Just look at that beautiful white-feathered head! Wonderful!

  • You dumb dumb. I would love to be one. Soar all day on hot air currents. Eat dead meat and just love it. Stay with the same girl and not get bord of her. Piss off all those waring humans with my dashing good looks and fantastic flying abillity.

  • I agree, I wouldn't mind being this kind of vulture.

  • I love Africa. I love the jungle. I love this video and National Geographic. Oh and I love Hyenas. I cant get enough of wildlife videos.

  • @LoneVocalist I'm in complete agreement!

NationalGeographic has some of the most amazing footage

  • The Green-Team!

  • yeah it is very hard to survive in this animal world... unless u work as a team :)

  • How do you know?

    What "TEAM" are you on?

  • Silly hyenas, lion left hungry and they didn't get anything.

  • ebil vulture >=(

  • Shut Your fuccin' face "Ebil vulture" You fucc sticc

  • go vultures!!!!!!!!vultures vultures

  • poor hyenas...

  • vultures rock

  • To juanito21: The only beautiful animal in this vid is a lioness!!! Who agrees, guys?

  • I don't agree, the Ruppell's vulture is beautiful...for a vulture. I know of some types that are very ugly and some have that, "Ok" look but this one is just spectacular!

  • LOL. that lion just solved a mating problem

  • lmao

  • 稀树草原秃鹫

    一群大,强硬ruppell的griffon秃鹰多于对手一包鬣狗。

    看到所有国家地理影片

  • it sad how vultures and other beautiful animals are used in film as a negative portrayal..now many people don't appreciate them.

  • How are the vultures and other animals are used negatively? Exploitation is the organic fundamental function of all animals. The lions kill an animal, and the vultures exploit another's kill.

  • You have sucky grammer, and you can't use fag right. It's nature. Something exploits something else. Vultures eat smaller animals, people eat cows, chickens, etc.

  • carrion birds have been death omens throughout history, it might be sad but it makes sense, and if we didn't have stories and superstitions that would be pretty sad too.

  • why did you watch it then?

  • hmmm...

  • awesome information

  • i think i like vulchers now :)

  • i feel sorry 4 the antelope and the lion, after all its his kill

  • the vulture has a wierd neck

  • i read about these thing ands they poop on their legs i forgot why but they stink to high hell !

  • lol thats something interesting nat geo didnt tell us.

  • its a way to cool themselves...they cant sweat like us so they found a more...very different way to cool down.

  • very informative video

  • The Vultures Are Such Beautiful Animals,But Still Why Do People Got To Hate on Vulture, but They Like Lions Better why Because Lions have Manes Or They Are Savage Hunters

  • theyre like piranhas of the sky lol

  • your a piranha of the sky!!!

  • that's amazing they'll fly over 90 miles to find food...it's amazing how they ate that whole carcass...

  • Wow. Amazing. It makes me sad seeing other animals get killed. I know it's part of life but I feel bad for them. I guess when you love animals it's a hard thing to watch. I can't believe how fast those vultures ate that animal. lol.

  • Not as ugly as the North American turkey vulture.

  • the lion did all that work and got nothing! poor things.

  • Poor underappreciated lioness

  • noo the lion!!

  • cool vid i learned alot, but that guy is a deush hes so annoying!!!

  • I agree, I can't stand his voice, and some of the stuff he says is straight up retarded

  • lol i agree i thought i was the only one who hated his voice..

  • the lion seemed all alone...that's odd...

  • true...don't female lions hunt in group?

  • yeah, i think so..it looks kind of weird. maybe staged???

  • Not all lions live together. When food is a little scarce, they sometimes live alone or in pairs.

  • i was waiting for him to comment after the lion made the kill...but he didn't: so i will

"and now kids, watch as she rips its' arse out and feasts from its gaping carcass, ain't it lovely, but watch out lion.."

  • TAKE DOWN!

  • its funny how a documentary can turn into a violent action short lol

  • i got vulture worms

  • lion got owned

  • vultures are adorable!

  • I'm hungry.

  • You go out to a restaurant and order a cheeseburger. Once you get the burger though some homeless guy will start harassing you for it. Then while you get up from the table to chase him off, another more clever homeless guy will take it.

I think that would be funny anyway, hehe.

  • did u see dont be a menace to south central? the homeless carry the cheeseburgers rofl

  • can u give me a cigarette?

  • damn i just hate this presenter so much

  • why ? i think his voice is lively

  • he's like a kid's tv presenter

  • cool

  • lame narrarator

  • vultures and tapeworms rule!

  • "One colossal trash heap" - sounds like the city I live in.

  • كدي يا غزالة و اكلي يا حمارة

  • cool video sorry i did not enjoy the voice of narration either

  • cool

  • they dont cook the food first? stupid animals.

  • Tells you something about eating animals, eh?

If you need to cook it, could it be your digestive system isn't meant to digest meat?

I'm no vegetarian, but these things are so obvious to the naked eye.

I envy these animals in this sense.

  • We can digest raw meat, it's just that the risk of contracting a disease or a parasite is greater with uncooked foods.

Animals in the wild have developed stronger immune systems from eating uncooked flesh for so long, but even they can become ill from it.

  • true! but humans can easily eat raw meat. i can. the thing is we can't eat *old* raw meat.

  • Is it just me or did the narrator just ruin the end? Cleanup squadron?

  • A good example of a creature that's extremely well-adapted to its environment...I always thought of vultures as being very low on the food chain, but this species seems extremely good at what it does.

  • Is it just my imagination or did National Geographic narration before sound more intelligent? Aside from affecting a tone of voice that sounds like someone talking to a bored 3rd grader or an America's Funniest Home Video audience, the language of this clip is riddled with lazy, imprecise colloquialisms. Now we must wonder: is TV making Americans more stupid, or are Americans making TV more stupid?

  • They have a couple different narrators. Most of them are good, but THIS one, for some reason, has been popular lately and his commentary is about as good as America's Funniest Animals (it might even be the same guy).

I just hope they fire him soon, or at least relegate him to children's narration.

  • oh shit that antelope got fucked up :D

  • I remember there was a vulture couple that used to sit on a light pole for many years near a forest. I think house construction around their land forced them to migrate.

  • This narrator does suck...Get powers boothe!! He was great in "Eternal Enemies".

  • well a lioneses are scared of clan of hyenas, only lions that can beat hyenas are males, so if it wont for the hyenas them birds wouldnt have got to eat!!

  • eat me........

  • After all that work the lion doesn't even get a bite. What a waste.

  • Awesome :]

  • Why don't the Hyenas attack/et the vultures? easy meal it'd seem.

  • woah, these captures are just getting better! i <3 national geograpgic! :-)

  • Wha? 4 video responses and it's only be up an hour. Hmmmmm, strange.

  • It's pretty funny how the lion killed the antelope and the vultures ended up eating it.

  • Its more like how the lion kills the antelope, the hyenas chase off the lion and then the vultures eats it all o.o All the while they were just standing there staring and doing none of the work! :p

  • That's nature @_@

  • Yeah, all that for barely nothing.

  • that narrator sucks!

  • the narrators voice is great imo

  • that was rather rude to not leave anything. great vid. scarey lion!

  • first to say first!

  • cool good vid

  • Awesome

  • Whats wrong with saying first?

  • it's retarded. it's so freakin' immature. so don't imitate that crap they do.

  • It's basically spam.

  • Kewl

  • Nice video
