people grow up differently in different countries/cultures. Some of those 14yo "individuals" are as mature as 18yo "individuals" in the USA.
Besides, when North America was first inhabited by white people, they married at 11 and 12 years old. Times changed from then, but so did our culture. Many of our 18yo individuals are not mature enough to consent even still (but yeah I know its their legal choice).

The age of consent in Sweden is 15 also btw. This video gave me facts I did not know about some countries, good video.

The USA has just got to stop preaching sexual morals and imposing our unbelievably immature point of view upon other nations.
I despise any sexual abuse.
Adults often forget that they believed they knew what was best for them at a very early age.
Sexually educated children are factually less likely to get pregnant, become rapists or even worse....turn out like Sara Palin...:)

Elevationary@loveseverything ,There are a couple of Reasons why this would never work,first reason is the catholic church,and the Presbyterian church have abused their authority,the second reason is education,the third reason is Culture,it could never work in a multicultural society,young people would get hurt,also i have seen young girls of 19,with partners who are older,who happen to be on drugs,and the girls get sucked in,it can only work in a pure society,there is no pure society out there..

@loveseverything yeah responsibilty is our only answer. the government thing we are to iresponsible for our actions, but i think age 9 is to soon for mariage they still dont know what they doing. but idk that might aply to only american children they arent as advanced as other nations. i guess to much censorship and lying to kids about life making them believe in fairys and santaclause

Good video, your 100% right. A lot of people do not understand. My grandmother was 14 when she married my 21 yr old grandfather. I am happy I saw the video.
