2 yrs ago i was a GOOD C.O.-tech at AT&T for 10 years at $32./hr. Then they started microscoping everything we did, and nitpicking everything. Management treats all their employees BADLY. They constantly increase the difficulity of the job, then scrutinize your performance. This was the WORST job i ever had. So i quit to go work for a plumbing company. I started at about $10/hr fixing stinky sewer equipment (I make more now).I am LOTS happier now. I pity everyone who still works there.
AT&T sucks. This "performance measuring" system targets oldest employees in order to force them into retirement so that the company can avoid buy-out offers to save money. Of course, they have $39 billion to buy T-Mobile, but who's counting? Schmucks.
