  • Wow what a good girl! I'm impressed with how well she listens (I have a german shepard/husky/newfie mix who can be very stubborn sometimes). I love how protective she is with your son. You can certainly tell that her attention is on the rest of the world as well as the baby. so cute! Thanks so much for sharing! I wish there were more vids like this that showed the true side of the pit!

  • Love your baby and your dog, such a great video! Thank you for sharing!

  • i love how this shows Bonita's total respect for you at the end. you hear about these stories where human babysitters are hurting kids? as someone who's grown up with dogs: dog babysitters are where it's at!

  • beautiful dog ;) and very calm ;) come to us on our profil ;) best wishes.

  • That dog is on the LOOKOUT! He's like "You ain't getting this baby!"

  • The ears <3

  • Your pit has my pits EARS I love it.!!

  • I used to be really scared of dogs, expecelly pitbulls, cause you hear such negative things about them. But then I meet a person that has a pitbull. In the beggining I couldnt be in the same room as the dog, but as time passed by we became best friends! :) I take care of her almost every day, cause I love to go out and walk and my friend needs some help to take care of the dog right now. She even sleeps in my bed, next to me. You have a relly beautiful pitbull!

  • I am so impressed with Bonita. Beautiful, well trained dog and clearly a very good pack leader (owner/trainer). Good job and enjoy the many years of happiness and protection. From a very dedicated pitbull owner/lover.

  • very well trained pit

  • 0:44 GRRRRR

  • Those ears<33

  • God help anybody who tries to hurt that baby....they'd have to get through the dog and we all know that's not going to happen :)

  • What a good doggie!

  • Pit Bulls use to be known as a nanny dog. They would go out with the kids in the family to watch over them while they played. The dog not only played well with the kids but also protected them from being kidnapped or hurt. Most recent perfect example is Weela a Pit Bull Hero that saved her owner's son from being killed by a snake. She then went on to save many more people and animals during a flood.

  • Pitbulls can be such nice dogs! if trained correctly. This one's deffently is! as soon as his owner says sommething his is down on the ground again. still i think when somebody would threatends the kid he won't get close with the dog near:P

  • o i have the same exact pit!!! hes more white with a spot on his back but the same face same expression. very nice video!

  • oh my god that dog has some truly magnificent ears

  • Kids delayed reactions are so funny he puts his hand on dog at 33 it barks , the baby realizes it's really cool like 6 seconds later!

  • @duneberry666 : It's brainless people like you who mess up the dogs and make them aggresive. Btw, you still believe in Santa Claus, don't you? ;-)

  • Ya lets have a pit bull around a baby...really fucken smart. Ya all gentle and sweet and protective...then BAM! one day tears the kids face off! Why would you risk that? Oh right your big tough badass with the mohawk, and tattoos......your screaming for attention....look at me im badass! The truth is you were prob troubled and neglected, and you compensate by getting this type of breed to "help you" with your issues. Grow up.

  • @duneberry666 What about you? You fucking preppy bitch. Why don't YOU grow up and learn that people don't get tattoos to look "Bad ass", They get them to express themselves. You know what, What if he was Troubled and Neglected. It's people like you who think the world should be your way and oh dear god, that "crazy" ass pitbull over there is gonna snap and tear the baby's face off, When in reality, That pitbull would do ANYTHING to protect that little baby. So how about YOU grow the fuck up.

  • @duneberry666 let's see. Pit bulls out number any other breed of dog, 3:1. It's a fact. They are the most overbred dog in the dog world. Because they outnumber all other dogs, the few attacks that happen--yes few--outweigh all the good the other million do. The bite percentage for any breed of dog is incredibly low, but since there are more pit bulls, we hear more about it. I had one growing up, along with a German Shepherd, and they NEVER attacked or bit me. My sisters Chi did enough of that.

  • @duneberry666 wow E-Thug......now who is looking for attention?

  • @duneberry666 What a judgement you passed... all because they are in their yard with a dog and a baby? I am a 23 year old, going to College to be an art teacher, working on a certification in dog training, no tattoos and only my ears are pierced. I own a Pitbull. So much anger you have. Sounds like YOU need to get a plant to help with YOUR trouble and neglect. :[ Peace.

  • @duneberry666 I didn't understand half your comment. Go back to school and learn how to carry a conversation...

  • @duneberry666 Lol it is clear to me that you know nothing about this breed. Just look how well she obeys at the end. If she didn't love and respect her family, should would not listen. This dog would likely give it's life to save that baby. I have seen babies push pits in the face, hit them, you know, things babies do, and the pits don't bat an eye. Animals are smarter than you give them credit for, way smarter than you, in fact. Pits make wonderful family pets.

  • very good trained

  • He's just glued to the child. Thank God for the greatest dogs in the world. In my experience they give the attacker plenty of time and warning to back off. They don't really want to hurt anyone. They are doing a "job"! And they'll DIE to complete that job. What dogs would you want around your kids?

  • I have 2 pitts with a one year old in the house. My son was in the front yard and the pit bulls were in the front room looking out of the front window. My neighbor from across the street came up by my son. He was ready to pick up my son. Both pitts started to go crazy in the front room. Barking like you wouldn't believe. My neighbor Gary said your crazy for having those 2 dogs with that baby. I said "Those dogs would die for that little boy. There both protective." He hasn't been over since.

  • @toddandjillian Yeah! If he did grab the baby they might have the gameness to break through the window and save your son. What a scumbag. In their breeding these dogs were designed so both mom and dad could go out and work out in their farm only returning occasionally to feed and check on the kids. They're bred to save people from harm even at the cost of their own lives. What other kind of dog would you leave a baby with. They LOVE protecting. I keeps them 100% satisfied.

  • @toddandjillian

    lmao hahaha

  • Gotta say the dog looks hilarious with her ears up like that. The serious expression she has just ends up looking like a "derp" face :)

  • the most loyal... cant deny that

  • @badloser123 do you think i can meet you and ur dog sometme?

  • Awwww <3 shes VERY WELL trained! there was NO hesitation in listening! gr8 job!

  • what breed is this pit bull crossed with? obviously not full... i can tell by the muzzle. & the ears are pretty funky too.

  • pit bull is like "I dare somebody to mess with this baby" lol good video ;)

  • DAMN GOOD VID...VERY VERY WELL TRAINED DOG.

  • Pitty was on duty. very well trained dog.

  • I LOVE PITBULLS!!! <3

  • thank God for those lovely ears! happy to see it

  • That is soo cute. I love that the baby giggled when the dog gruffed. And he kept putting his hand on his dog like its ok. I am praying my pitbull is this good with our boy when he arrives. Thank you for sharing!!!

  • pits and babies are a perfect pairing. anyone who says otherwise has never seen them in action

  • lol i love that u named her Bonita!

  • Awww what a beautiful video. That just goes to show everyone that PITBULLS are not bad dogs when loved. What a cute video!!

  • Well trained. It stopped dead in it's tracks when you issued your "stay" command. I wish we could train my brother's dog to do that and his dog is just a 20lbs Bichon, not a 60lbs pitbull.

  • Beautiful! And the baby is cute, too! lol

  • omg i love his ears XD

  • The baby is all like 'it's alright doggy, i can make funny noises with my mouth and make it all better' xDDD

  • co un muzzucubi a testa ci scippa XD LOL

  • "Dis mah baybee. You no hurt, kay?"

  • Pit bulls are lovely dogs <3

  • This is not the video I was promised

  • Love that pitbull, very beautifull colour, id like one like this later, or a blue one:) those r coool 2!

  • If a pit could prepare a bottle, i would trust them better than a babysitter! I bet noone would even think of harming that child.

  • @SnowmanThunder thanks!!!!!!

  • hi! my boyfriend has got a pitbull, it is almost 3 months and while it is playing it bite.i am scared and i want to train it to not bite. it is very cute and bite whatever because with this way it plays. please write me soon and tell what i can do to train it to not bite. (excuse my english). thanks......

  • what a lovely doggie...

  • What a sweet dog! This is how our dog (1/2 pitbull) is with our kids, as well.

  • I pity the fool who makes any aggressive moves towards the baby.

    ..................nanny dogs RULE

  • There's a reason why pit bulls are called "nanny dogs" in the UK. They were hugely popular back in the early 20th century because parents would feel safe leaving their kids with the family pit, knowing the dog will be a gentle and watchful playmate.

Then a bunch of assholes decided to fight the dogs and suddenly the public deems them dangerous. Sorry, but I find the people who train the dogs the real evil bad guys here, not pits themselves. Dogs do what their owners tell them. Not their fault.

  • i love her ears

  • so beautiful

  • its ears are weird and sooooo cute (the dogs)

  • wow ur dog is very well trained! so sweet

  • Omg my dog looks like that but she has just your left ear brown..! I love pitbulls...I love my pitbull to death!!!

  • This makes me want to have a baby and a puppy :[

  • It's cute yet scary altogether

  • how sweet :X

  • Typical Pit bull! Looking after his/her baby and being gentle. Bless her :)

  • @middy444

    Thank you for your blessing.

  • @badloser123 YES!! BLESS HER FOR BEING A GOOD NANNY DOG!!! THAT IS WHAT THEY'RE BRED FOR!!! TO BE GENTLE , LUVING NANNY DOGS!! NOT FIGHTERS, BUT LUVERS!!

  • @cutebritishgirl21 thank you very much for your nice comments

  • I have seen several kids bitten by dogs for no reason at all rather you trust your dog or not one thing you need to remember they are still animals and they dont think like we do as humans

  • Beautiful baby and beautiful dog! You should have put a sheet for them both to lay on :)

  • @lambyiii I wish also but the past can not be changed but I will next time..

  • this is cute but I would not have a child that little next to a big dog

  • this is so cute . and the baby makes the most adorable noise

  • OMG HOW ADORABLE! I have a pit mix and he just loves kids. Follows my friends son around everywhere.

  • A Pit at her best. Nothing mine enjoys more than standing sentry over children.

  • watch kikopup's videos they are really helpfull and easy to learn from

  • i love the ears:)

  • awwww my little pitty just wants to be loved like this guy. she wants to protect me all the time. :D

  • I LOVE the li'l 'woofs'...on guard the whole time. You've got a great dog :)

  • PitBulls - The Nanny of the Dogs

  • You've trained her very well with commands. Kudos to you!

  • Bonita listens well. cute kid too.

  • oh my god...they are so cute!!! bonita's hears are so funny! but i met she's a good dog...

  • have u clipped her ears b4?

  • Good Dog, on the watch, making sure no one hurts her baby human. :-) good dog

  • That's a well train dog you have there although for dog owners I would recommend mixed breed dogs. Pure bred come with problems and defects.

  • @Kryptonian250 I think it should be the other way around.

  • @MrGSL What do yo mean?

  • Shes not vicious, she just has hay-fever =PP

  • wah a cute baby =D and ur dog is jus lovley

  • Comment removed

  • @oMrHDx that would be funny but thats dread a bric can kill him and u can go to jail lol a bric is good if he tryed again i threw a bric in guys face and he got strait back up and cryed with a big bruse on his face because he asked to bite my long thing in da garden down stairs

  • when you look into a pitbulls eyes it seems like your looking into a humans eyes who has been through some shit.

  • Who's that! ruff! Oh, who are you!? Wuff! AND you, WRUFF! love it, my staff cross does the same, then licks whoever it is with waggy tail :)

  • I bought a baby pitbull at the beginning of my pregnancy so my baby can have a childhood companion, but he is not what i expected. i have 12 weeks left until my baby boy is born, and if he doesn't get any better we will have to give him uo. i've tried everything. Any advice?

  • @momtabulous1 pits are strong willed dogs i have trained dogs for over 17 yrs and if you would like some advice let me know i'll help if i can email me

  • Unfortunatelly , those dogs suddenly attack

  • Aw this really opens up my heart. I might be getting a pit bull (puppy) and first I looked up stuff on how to raise it and accidently ran into a website that demoralized this breed. But now I'm looking at a baby and a pit bull next to each other. Thanks for sharing.

  • idiot trash

  • @ptmoneyrap

    lol. wat?

It's just a boy and his dog.

  • those are two beautiful kids u got there....i love ur pits ears!!! my rampage has big ears like bonita except his dont stand up

  • Heaheah, love the motorbike noises kid :D 'Broom Broom' lol

Shame that Amercan Pitts are banned in the Uk. They are a breed that if not trained well, can become frustrated & lash out, but the same can be said for many dogs.

Used to have a Rotty cross - Rod-RidgeBack (biiiig fella) never hurt a fly (unless he jumped up, with his flippin horse feet. Have a lovely dobie now :)

  • Gosh i love pitbulls

  • You have trained her very well! Any tips on how I can get my new puppy to listen to my commands like Bonita does to you?

  • @blond4ever1234

Bonita was a little tuff but just keep at it.. Good luck with the training

  • @badloser123 it's true. consistency is the mother of a swell doggers.

  • @blond4ever1234 just dont ever hit your dog in anger, slap it on the nose or tail if it does something wrong. but dont come home after a bad day of work and kick it or something because it wants to play or go out or what ever, thats how you make a pitbull mean.

  • She looks like a rabbit with her ears :D

  • great dogs its just scumbags that brutalize them to make them fighting dogs that are to blame

  • Your dog is such a cutie! ^__^

  • OMG! HIS EARS R SOOOO CUTE!!!!!!

  • if a baby hits a pitbull will the pitbull get mad?

  • @3sharky0623584 It all depends on how the pit was trained and raised. My pit Dexter is great with children who have disabilities. My friend works for an MRDD house, and we stopped in to get her check. One of the really bad kids there threw his arms around Dexter's neck from behind, and dug his fists into the poor dog's chest skin/fur. Dexter didn't even bat an eye. No nervous tongue flicks, no wide eyes, nothing. He was completely relaxed. It's all in how they're raised. These dogs are great!

  • @Mewsaphine thats what my friends tell me how depends i raised him but i got 2 little brothers 1 of them is 3 and the other on is 1 and they always hit things.

  • @3sharky0623584 Well, you really do have to teach children to respect dogs. My nephew is 3 and he can be really rough. He tries to ride Dexter like a horse if I'm not watching, sit on him while he's sleeping, poke and prod him, the works. Little kids are going to be little kids, that's why it is up to us to not only teach them to be kind to dogs, but to supervise ALL play. This will ensure that children don't do anything to a dog that may end poorly. This rule applies to all dogs, not just pits!

  • @Mewsaphine ill try

  • @pezilla123 yeah i got a pitbull already at first i was scared that my little brother was going to hit him and the dog will bite him and it will bite me and my family but no. my brother actually hits him with a stick and my dog runs a little when my bother gets near him he runs somwhere else so there playing. sometimes the dog runs next to him so my brother will try to him my dog and miss sometimes he falls.

  • Once, at the mall, they had rescue dogs, one was a pittbull who had her ears cut off because her dick-head previous owners where training her to be a fighting dog. sadly most dogs trained as fighters have to be euthanized, but she was young enough to be rescued. Now, she's a therapy dog. and she was really sweet too. It just goes to show you, Pitbulls are great dogs if you give them a chance, and people who discriminate against them need to stfu.

  • @pima262 Dexter was rescued from a similar situation, and he LOVES people. Heave help the person who tries to hurt my nephew or any of us. He knows no stranger, but if someone were to try and hurt one of us, he would most def. protect us. He proved that when someone tried to break into my house.

  • wat are AMPT and AMST i thought there was only APBT

  • @TheJohnnybeez They are for the most part two different breeds. They have different physical conformation, but the AKC doesn't recognize both. It's complicated to people who really don't know both breeds. If you do a general search on both, you can see the difference in looks, size, and weight.

  • What a very well behaved AMPT...or just a well behaved dog in general. She's beautiful btw. I'm thinking about getting a AMPT or AMST., but want to do research first. :D

  • I love the example your dog sets here. I hate the ignorant prejudice most people reflect my way with my pitbull. Also I have a question- How do you keep her coat so well groomed? Do you use any natural vitamins or shampoo to promote a healthy coat? I have the hardest time with mine.

  • she was about to tear some ass up haha. i have a pit and he does the same thing, if you train them right theyre very loving and protective dogs.most people freak out because of pitbulls, you should be cautious obviously because theyre a dog in general but it all depends on how good you treat them, because if an owner is always mean to a pitbull OR ANYDOG the dog thinks thats the way to live is to be mean all the time. all pitbulls arent bad like i said it all depends on the owners

  • The true nanny-dog! :)

  • @sterb EXACTLY!!!

  • Bonita is a beauty, love those ears :) And she's so well trained. Lots of kisses and hugs for her!

  • They're both super-adorable, I love the wonky ears lol...It's disgusting how some assholes' vicious nature and sadism is why these wonderful dogs are looked at so poorly.

  • i love ur pitbull

the coat on her is so cleann

by the way at what age did u start training her?

im waiting on my friends pit to have babys and get one for free

i had a blue nose 3 months but had to give it away =( anywho nice video

  • sooo cute

  • that dogs ears are to funny

  • I love it. That is what the breed is about FAMILY. They just want to be loved and to be with you. Our pit bull loves our son and right now is being his pillow while he sleeps on her. They will learn to act the way you want them to. If you teach them to love that is what they will do.

  • She's fantastic! Just like my red-nose and American Bulldog/pit mix! They do the exact same thing! I just love their little "boofs" to alert the passerbys that they need to behave! LOL! We're due with another baby in September and I just can't wait for my two pitties to meet him/her! They are fantastic family pets!

  • LOL his ears theyre both sooo cute

  • that beautiful dog would Gard the baby with it's life if it was ever in danger bet on it!!!!!

  • Wow people these days are paranoid i swear, it's just like how most of you probably go to the emergency room over a cold. Dogs are extremely protective of children. Any dog can be extremely careful and gentle if raised properly

  • i have a great dane and a american pitbull, when there are infants in the house the dane moves like a ninja to not even touch the little ones, and the pitbull loves tickling and playing with them. they dont even playfight with each other let alone the kids, its about how they are raised and how used to children the dogs are.

  • I can understand these comments. I live and work for a political party in Northern Ireland.

Saying that everyone who is apart of Irish unity is a terrorist and a car bomber just because of some sick bastards in the past have done is unfair and a generality

  • @ oscargurses

My proof is that we owned one with our 4 year old daughter, raised it with all the love we could and it still snapped at her over a toy so we gave her to a family with older children. I don't speak without knowing. I am a dog groomer and know a lot about different breeds. I love pits dearly and would never "down" a breed. I'm just intilted to my own opinion from experience :)

  • @beautifuldisasternee

and alot of people raise their kids in what they think is alot of lvoe and yet their kids still go out and do terrible terrible things.

your telling me you raised your dog with the amount of love you gave yoru child? unlikely and animals need as much love.
