What a great upload , so much more than the title implies! Found it by chance, too. Many thanks! You have brightened up another dull evening in High Wycombe!
@noonoosdad A very underrated singer! A clip of The Settlers performing 'Nowhere Man' on M&W Show was added to YouTube by me today via my other account.
Nice posting, thanks! This is a surprisingly complex arrangement, if you really listen to it. And it's from a time when I think 8-track recording was about as good as it gets so there's been a lot of work put into this. I can't find this anywhere on cd, unless anyone knows better. And wasn't Cindy a stunner!
i love this little gem of a vid, god bless mike jones. the settlers should have been a lot bigger than they were, bad management maybe. they had terrific stage presence and looked good too. as for the singing, briliant! although there weren't a lot of folk groups around at tht time. the settlers were always my favourites. thank you guys (and cindy of course!!!)
Lovely haunting theme, sounds like the Seekers
a classic, should have got in the top 10

@bobbygray100 The best series were from the seventies. But that's too complicated for you.

@bobbygray100 Certainly better material than Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, or Britney Spears.
