man i love watching spec miata races. watching them go 4-5 wide in the first turn is so crazy

Would you consider these spec cars to be any faster than a regular street miata ? They seem to accelerate as fast as my stock 91 NA wich is kind of cool :P maybe a bit faster since these are racecars afterall and dont have to carry all the crap street cars have like spares etc.
