I saw Michael Williams at The Canyon Sunday March 4th 2012 in Agoura Hills CA, and actually met him out back near the buses after the show. He opened for George Thorogood..All I can say is WOW ! I was blown away by Michael and his Band.. what a surprise ! I forgot about George for awhile. Can't wait to purchase some of his stuff and see The Michael Williams Band again soon !
I had the amazing opportunity to know this very talented man when he was younger. I also knew his very talented father. What a wonderful succession of talent. It makes me proud that the world got to/ gets to experience these amazing artist.
I just saw these guys tonight at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA. AWESOME band!!!! They opened up or Buddy Guy and did it justice!!! And we spoke to Darren in the lobby for a while...He is a really nice guy! I will keep an eye out for these guys..I think they are going to be big!!
Michael Williams is from Austin, Texas. He moved from Austin after his father died. His dad was the great Junior Medlow. Had the pleasure of seeing Michael open up for Buddy Guy on 9/3/11 here in Austin. He is incredible, very happy for him...continued much success!!
he's not from austin. but his mom did/does live in the houston area. he's spent more time living in seattle and growing up in hawaii than anywhere else.
The radar is on and this sonar blip just turned into a sonic boom. Get it out there bro and enjoy the ride.. All the best and get your guitar plank spanking as down to Australia and burn the place down.
Just saw them last night at House of Blues in Chicago...unbelievable, stage presence is amazing ...very talented and very gracious!! I got the Fire Red CD...Love it!!
Hey Micheal, my names Glen. Friend of Richard Stone and Keith King. I used to live in the house you do twice over a 10 year period.Great guitar Love it!
Michael is AMAZING! I had the pleasure seeing him open for Buddy Guy last night in Tucson and he just blew me away. As another poster has said; the future of the blues indeed does look bright in the hands of this great young talent. Spoke to him after the show and found out he'll be opening for Eric Johnson in July (also at the Rialto) so I will definitely be checking him out again then. Can't wait!
Saw Michael last night opening for Buddy Guy. Very dynamic performance that was plagued by a few technical problems, but he overcame everything like an old pro (but with almost no support). The future of the blues looks bright in the hands of such a great talented song writer and performer.

I saw them open for Eric Johnson in a venue with only 500 people... it blew me away how amazing he was. Totally overshadowed Eric in my mind.
