Concerning the 1993 child touching charges against Michael, it must be made known that Michael never wanted to settle. He definitely wanted to go to trial. However, listening to bad advice from his lawyers at the time he settled. He regretted this decision because of the ongoing perception of guilt. If the family had a case they should have taken it to trial and then sued MJ in civil court, after all their child had supposedly suffered a great harm. No good deed goes unpunished.
