wtf... No, she's not! Lauren thinks fast, some times too fast, for her own good (people don't get her jokes) but in my view she's a bit of a comedic genius. Would love to see her write dialogue for any comedy series.

I'm thinking about how she develops a situation she v has been talking about with the host just a slice of a story and then she comes up with a new angle (usually absurdist). Think about when she guested Ferguson's Late Late Show in September 2006. It's on youtube somewhere.

I went and watched the Ferguson interview and came up with one conclussion: she's the cutest bimbo I've ever seen; I can almost stand the way she talks.

YET, she's still a bimbo. I don't think she's quick witted, either. People who say that must be REAL slow. It's not absurdist, it's child-like. Children come up with similar things all the time.

Now, Craig Ferguson IS quick-witted. Incredibly so.
