  • The elevator near the middle of Cityplace in the mall and parking tower has a lantern style way similar to the Dover and Thyssenkrupp ones but there is glass doors on the back and regular doors on the front

  • There is also a MT at Fairfield Inn on Fletcher but the sound of the changing floors are missing including the hall lantern being similar to the Schindler at Cityplace

  • There is another MT at Macys in my hometown but has the old chimes and the lantern has a missing light

There is a keyhole in Canada's Burlington Mall glass elevator which is rare for the Dover keyholes

  • @gluse I be making elevator videos soon.

  • no it was in bossier city louisana

  • i guss in texas is a place for schidler elevators

  • I dont think this was at Texzs read the decription

  • Yes, even if the door close button does work.

  • Actually, the door close button works, but you need to hold it down for a few seconds, rather than pushing it.

  • I just wait for it to close instead of holding it in

  • i got stuck on a schindler elevator one time

  • for how long I sorta got stuck on a schindler only for 10 sec because I jumped dont ever jump in an elevator

  • I've ALSO got Asperger's! I've had a fetish with elevators since I was, like, 6 years of age!

  • I also have Asperger's. I usually like elevators, but can't stand the newer Dover/ThyssenKrupp ones. Seroiusly, I HATE 'EM! Don't particularly like newer Otis elevators either.

  • Dude? When you said "fetish", that sound so wrong. SO VERY WRONG. Uh, if you know what fetish mean, send me a private message to me. No offensive, dude, but you got to be careful. <_<

  • BTW, I was talking to numbuh4heartstart. Sorry for confusion

  • I liked elevators since I was 2 the elevator I remember riding the most was the food court elevator at monroville mall and the boscoves elevator

  • Brings back memories. A side note: Schlinder elevators DO NOT allow people to hit the door close-I think its fire operation only. You probably knew that though.

  • it some schindlers door close works check out my latest video

  • that poster on the elevator door is creepy

  • I went to a Marriot Fairfield Inn hotel in Delaware. That elevator is also a schindler, but new.

  • I had to touch the phone cause I got stuck in the elevator in Macy's in Chicago. And I been stuck in elevator for 3 hours. And it sucks

  • was it the one with a rear door?

  • he means dont touch is to screw around with it and call someone when your no stuck of course you can touch it when you get stuck

  • I work at this hotel. I like to ride the elevator too.

  • Is this a schindler?

  • Yes

  • @gluse

  • I have autism too

  • That's cool. Do you like to ride elevators, too?

  • Yes

  • yes I do

  • My son is 5 and has Asperger's. He LOVES elevators! He watches your videos repeatedly most afternoons. He likes to imitate you.

  • I just love them! I have Autism and I love to ride them!

  • That is very cool. My son knows where all the Thyssen Krupp and Dover elevators are in the town we live in. We have made elevator buttons on paper by several of the sliding doors in our home. Two adults, my son, and a big golden retriever have even played elevator in the walk in shower. It is neat to find other people that enjoy the same things as my son.

  • Thyssenkrupp/Dover Elevators Are My Favorite Company

  • FYI - I asked the Thyssen Krupp and Otis offices in San Antonio for info. Both sent me/my son some some catalogs with pictures.

  • I like to play elevator to in my closet with a sliding pocket door I took a pix with my digetal camera of buttens of an otis in a skysraper and put it on the wall. Oh I like thyssenKrupp and Dover to

  • Taking pictures for home is a great idea! Thanks

  • I have asperger's. I'd like to riding escalators & elevators too. Especially I like Otis, Schindler, GEC (General Electric Company U.K.), Daldoss and Fiam (both from Italy)

  • Yo man! I've asperger's, too. I like riding and discovering elevators & escalators anywhere, anytime.

    *I am 17

  • Cool! So there's more people who like elevators and, have Asperger Syndrome. I have Asperger Syndrome, too. I have elevators as one of my intersts. I know I did say this in another video of the same person "Schindler elevator at Central Market" But someone else in the comment section said about someone with Asperger Syndrome/interest in elevators, so I really wanted to tell again.

  • I appreciate those of you that have shared your interest in elevators and have said you have Asperger's or autism. It makes me feel good to know that there are others that have the same interests as my son. Have any of you checked out Elevator World magazine?

  • Yeah! I have been getting one Elevator World Magazine nearly every month, although I like seeing the pictures a lot instead of reading them. I think they are nice magazines.

  • I think so.

  • On a Schindler elevator, the door close button doesn't work, so don't bother.

  • What about Thyssen Krupp Elevator do their door close buttons work?

  • yeah door close will work on thyessnkrupp dover otis montgomery kone abell international baxter and sons pretty much all of them but no schindler.

it may not work on the other brands like the ones Ive mentioned if schindler modernizes it

  • The door close button should work on fire service, though.

  • some elevators dont even have door closes
