The secret is in the swing. You can do these shots just by taking 2 steps back. So people first practice like this and your shots will get better. Then you make it into your own style and take it from whatever angle you want and u can take as many steps as you want. But start with 2 or 3 steps away.

1. To knuckle the ball just hit it really high up on your instep(near your ankle), no other technique is needed if you already know how to kick a ball properly.

2. Ronaldo's dipping free kick is hit low on your instep (close to your big toe but not on it) with his foot sideways and little to no follow through. That is all it takes. Well, that and a lot of practice.

Cuz if you hit it properly with your instep you don't need a lot of muscle behind it. Maybe your ball is over inflated. If you can't get your foot into the ball then it will most likely spin when you kick it, which is not what you want. It should just float through the air.

These knuckleball shots that your doing aren't really that good, trust me I've seen better by me and I'm only 14, and your like what 18, so don't hit it with the inside of your foot you'll just get spin, a perfect knuckleball should have no spin and so hit it with your top left side of your foot( top as in by your toes) then trust me you will get the ball to knuckle, but the shots were good it's just that their was no knuckle
