took a while to search you but i finally found you. please add me as a contact. i don't know how to do it with this new layout.

    LUV YOU SO MUCH!

    moomay

  • Great to see you back, Marc, and another fabulous recipe from your extensive repertoire. I shall definitely be trying this one out! :)

  • @GIZCHOPS Hi Gary :-) I'm not really back. I just wanted to make one more video before I moved. Good to see you, too.

  • I must remember to have a Valentine Squash. Glad your pan collection is coming along nicely

  • I stand accused of not reading the title this time...

  • that looks really good, I don't know if I can get that squash here now.

  • @wstoner Where do you live?

  • @Perroquet51 Fort Wayne, Indiana Last time I was at the store they didn't have many vegetables. I suppose I could try another store.

  • We coming over to your house for dinner....you're such a great cook!!!!!

  • @mrsbowlingballout You are both welcome, anytime!

  • hmmm, looks so good! Maybe my sister will cook it while I am here! LOL Love your sense of humor! Too bad you didn't get your friends silicon brush along with the pan! I have one and love it! So good to see you Marc!!! xoxo

  • @mysteryglo You know, I looked all over for a silicone brush when I was there but I think she hid it. Can you believe people?

  • Yum! Never noticed before, but it IS subtly perfect for Valentine's Day, isn't it? ;-)

  • @nameofthepen Now that you mention it....

  • I enjoyed that ...cos it's a new idea for what we call Butternut Squash here...I often make a soup with my own stock , a big red pepper...seasoning and Squash and then blended....nothing else...Yours looks wonderful...but I would be serving to a 'him ' not a 'her' ...with luck...haha

  • @xyzllii I made one attempt at butternut squash soup and it wasn't that great. I know it can be so I'm going to keep trying.

  • I've never tried anything like this before, hmm might have to now. Looks really yummy. Don't ya love it when your friends let you take pans from their cabinets? I think you picked a nice small pan.

  • @Jinxie228 I especially like friends who don't search me when I leave. But those are becoming fewer and fewer :-)

  • I am going to request this for Valentine's Day.

You will enjoy the new silicone brush. Didn't your friend ask you to take one of those as well as the small pan?

    - roc

  • @popparoc46 Not only didn't she ask me to take her silicone brush, she hid it.

  • I've always been leery of kitchen brushes. Recently I went to reach for one and what I found was a set of brightly colored silicone brushes instead. The worked great to brush eggwhite on bread sticks. Funny thing is, Grace doesn't really cook yet I constantly find new gadgets in the kitchen. XD

  • @bowlingballout I seriously like those few cooking videos you do. I wish you did more.

  • Screw Valentine's Day. Gimme now!

With a glaze consisting of honey, butter, and brown sugar, how can you go wrong? This looks purely delightful. And I have an acorn squash in the fridge that's in need of attention. I have no cranberries or almonds, but that's easily remedied. I may have to do this over the weekend.

I think it needs bacon, though... :-P

  • @anmoose I'd say choose between the bacon or the relish. lol The last couple of times I've made this, I used butternut squash, but in the past I've always used acorn for this recipe. I like it both ways.

  • Well there you are. It's been a minute.

  • @Jackurbation Hey, it's been a month, hasn't it? That's pretty close to forever. Anyway, I'm almost moved out of this house so I might make one or two more vids before the kitchen disappears.

  • Love your cooking shows...and this looks really delicious! Thanks!

  • @sprichbeeke Thank you beeke :-) Happy New Year.

  • your and freitasex's cooking videos are the best, in my opinion

  • @lysippus I try to make mine more like cooking vlogs instead of "shows" but I end up editing most of the vlog parts out. This video was almost 15 mins long before I decided to nix most of my commentary.

  • YUM..........YUM. By the way, don't forget to bring a squash tomorrow!

  • WOW, the squash really is pretty when it's finished and ready to serve!!!

  • So I guess you're not too broken up about the USPS cutting down on it's services? You'll probably want to celebrate if they ever go out of business.

  • @DebUSA I wouldn't cry my eyes out.

  • LOL @ "Go take a small pan out of the cupboard. So I took this one."

  • Marc did I order that you dump the paint brush ?? Could be im quite forgetfull these days ...lol.... I will take credit wether or not I said it but more importantly , that cranberry glazed squash looks fantastic ....may just make that for Valentines Day...!!!

  • @bowhunter2439 OK, you didn't "order", you just strongly suggested :-) I found one that that I liked had little nooks on the bristles but it was about 4 feet long. I'm still looking for a shorter one like that.

  • looks yummy... I do this with some cinnamon,,,

  • @sunsetlover mmm, without the bleu cheese, I think cinnomon sounds great!

  • looks yummy mate....

  • I am not a fan of squash, but I am a fan of yours so I watch.

  • @timido66 But you are a fan of orange so maybe you could somehow preserve them and turn them into art?

  • so good to see you. the stuffed squash would win my heart.

  • @bohogirl1 Who could resist a Valentine's Day squash? lol

  • I think you are a better cook than me any day!

  • @freitasex Personally, I much prefer watching videos by good cooks like you, than the big time YT chefs. I always know that your recipes will turn out as expected, whereas theirs often do not.

  • Wow!! That looks yummy!!!

  • @hallbe I've been eating more and more vegetarian meals and this is an unusually easy one to fix.

  • Oh you mentioned me! I am all excited now!

Thanks Marc, you're such a pal

Us Brits don't really know about squash, i mean they DO sell them sometimes in the supermarkets but we don't know what to do with them and we are a little bit scared of them, but now i know i can make this dish easily enough, but when and how do you eat this? as a dessert? as a side dish?

  • @twish1999 I eat it as a meal.

  • @twish1999 (2) Our stores are full of odd veggies that I'm sure are imported for the sake of immigrants because I have no clue. My goal this year is to learn how to prepare each and every one of them.

  • yum and what a beautiful dish :O) !

  • @BryanAndBaileysZoo Happy New Year, Bryan :-)

  • @BryanAndBaileysZoo lol, Hugs to you Bryan ;-)
