hmmm, looks so good! Maybe my sister will cook it while I am here! LOL Love your sense of humor! Too bad you didn't get your friends silicon brush along with the pan! I have one and love it! So good to see you Marc!!! xoxo
I enjoyed that ...cos it's a new idea for what we call Butternut Squash here...I often make a soup with my own stock , a big red pepper...seasoning and Squash and then blended....nothing else...Yours looks wonderful...but I would be serving to a 'him ' not a 'her' ...with luck...haha
I've never tried anything like this before, hmm might have to now. Looks really yummy. Don't ya love it when your friends let you take pans from their cabinets? I think you picked a nice small pan.
I've always been leery of kitchen brushes. Recently I went to reach for one and what I found was a set of brightly colored silicone brushes instead. The worked great to brush eggwhite on bread sticks. Funny thing is, Grace doesn't really cook yet I constantly find new gadgets in the kitchen. XD
With a glaze consisting of honey, butter, and brown sugar, how can you go wrong? This looks purely delightful. And I have an acorn squash in the fridge that's in need of attention. I have no cranberries or almonds, but that's easily remedied. I may have to do this over the weekend.
@anmoose I'd say choose between the bacon or the relish. lol The last couple of times I've made this, I used butternut squash, but in the past I've always used acorn for this recipe. I like it both ways.
@Jackurbation Hey, it's been a month, hasn't it? That's pretty close to forever. Anyway, I'm almost moved out of this house so I might make one or two more vids before the kitchen disappears.
@lysippus I try to make mine more like cooking vlogs instead of "shows" but I end up editing most of the vlog parts out. This video was almost 15 mins long before I decided to nix most of my commentary.
Marc did I order that you dump the paint brush ?? Could be im quite forgetfull these days ...lol.... I will take credit wether or not I said it but more importantly , that cranberry glazed squash looks fantastic ....may just make that for Valentines Day...!!!
@bowhunter2439 OK, you didn't "order", you just strongly suggested :-) I found one that that I liked had little nooks on the bristles but it was about 4 feet long. I'm still looking for a shorter one like that.
@freitasex Personally, I much prefer watching videos by good cooks like you, than the big time YT chefs. I always know that your recipes will turn out as expected, whereas theirs often do not.
Us Brits don't really know about squash, i mean they DO sell them sometimes in the supermarkets but we don't know what to do with them and we are a little bit scared of them, but now i know i can make this dish easily enough, but when and how do you eat this? as a dessert? as a side dish?
@twish1999 (2) Our stores are full of odd veggies that I'm sure are imported for the sake of immigrants because I have no clue. My goal this year is to learn how to prepare each and every one of them.
OMFG MARC! I THOUGHT I LOST YOU FOREVER!!! i am so so effin' happy i found you.
took a while to search you but i finally found you. please add me as a contact. i don't know how to do it with this new layout.

@Jinxie228 I especially like friends who don't search me when I leave. But those are becoming fewer and fewer :-)

I am going to request this for Valentine's Day.
You will enjoy the new silicone brush. Didn't your friend ask you to take one of those as well as the small pan?
