@je5752 I have a certain respect for Jesse Ventura, but were he to team up with Ron Paul, that respect would go away. Ron and Rand Paul's views are abhorrent.
@projectcracka Firstly, as someone with a military background myself the fact that you 'brag' about killing, suggests you're either full of shit, or a fucking moron, a sociopathic cunt or all of the above.
Assuming you're just a sociopathic moron, let's just clear one thing up. You haven't killed for any citizen of the USA. Not one. You've killed for the corporations and the military industrial complex.
Instead of ensuring freedom for the USA you've helped to take away their freedoms.
@projectcracka ... did you say you were protecting poppy fields!?! Did you mean that literally or just as an allegory for Afghanistan, If you think that you were in Afghanistan protecting America I feel sorry for the fact that you spent two deployments to Afghanistan and never really learned anything, what a waste that you didn't talk to the locals about politics, or you didn't investigate, the braindead in America have not seen it, you did and your still spouting the same nonsense. sad really.
@projectcracka You killed for me? How sweet How does your 2 tours in the 'stan do ME any favours? I'm sure you think you're fighting for Truth, Justice and the American Way, but the unbeguiled amongst us know you weren't doing anything of the kind.... 'yours moms[sic] basement'? Really? that REALLY the best you got by way of insults?...Anyway...Ventura was never a SEAL...there were SEAL teams when he was UDT; he wasn't in the teams THEN, so he is NOT a SEAL...period.
There aren't many people I can think of (almost certainly not the majority of politicians) who embody what it means to be an American more than Jesse Ventura.
@honuman39 "There aren't many people I can think of (almost certainly not the majority of politicians) who embody what it means to be an American more than Jesse Ventura."
Self-absorbed and willing to lie in order to make themselves seem more important than they are?
That was a really good interview. I think it's fair enough to say, that compared to Jesse, the vast majority of us do nothing at all. I feel like a lazy slug.
The guy was a Navy SEAL, so i respect him (and fear him) for that alone, but he at some point in his 'professional' wrestling career was dropped on his gourd one too many times and now is overcome with the intense desire to espouse that 9-11 was an 'inside job' or that global warming is a plot to 'control the world.'
@satv365 According to one who asked those in the Navy who would know: " I asked Dick about the different NECs for UDT and SEALs. He didn't pause: "5321 for UDT, 5326 for SEALs. Anyone who'd only served in UDT before the Teams combined in 1983 couldn't truthfully claim to have been a SEAL."
@trinitymike Thank you for saying that. The only unwritten rule is that you don't lie about your service. But he did to get elected and kept on lying to cover it up. The simple truth is he is just an ex-wrestler trying to sell books. Bunch of morons worship him as a God when he is just a guy who puts his foot in his mouth every chance he gets.

If Jesse was president, so I wonder how long it had taken before he had ended up like JFK? I think one of the first he had started would have been re-investigation of 911, and it had probably madesome powerful criminals liars aggressive pretty quickly ..
Prey, what's so bad about cell phones? :)) Perhaps if Jesse had lived 50 years ago, he would have prided himself on not having a house phone or a washing machine or a TV.

@Hillsillverr Absolutely! Too bad Ron Paul is not running as independent, for Jesse would run with him if he had done that .Sot he said in any way, and it had been a pretty powerful alianse I think! =)
I've met Ventura and I got a good talk in with him. I think he's interesting and I think he's his own kind of smart. Really the best way to put it is the world needs someone like him. Just because no one brings up his points good or bad. To the Ventura for president crowd. Well do some reading on Ron Paul and Gary Johnson.
again, ppl are targettin him not because of issues, but whether he is in SEALS when clearly, the unit he is in became the SEALS after he left. Again, Illuminati FTW as ppl vote Republican and Democrat, both are tools of the elites
Jesse Ventura 2012 I'd vote for him. Hell, go ahead and say whatever you want about Mr.Ventura. Add up all the shittiest things you can say about him. Now compare that to Obama. Seriously, it's not a hard choice. Obama is officially bombing Libya illegally as of the other day, in regard to the War Powers Act. Not to mention he now has 3 names, look it up. BTW, Russia just threatened to kill the world. CDC issued Zombie warnings. Japan is fkt. SYNTHIA is still in the Gulf. HOLY RAPTURE!
Jesse; No matter how many times you claim you were a SEAL, you weren't. Why not state you were in the early Navy version of what BECAME the SEALs? Far more factually correct...
@trinitymike thats like saying, "i didnt own any glasses, but i had bi-focals" A name change which was what happened, since the core training remains the same is not a reason to keep a name that people wont recognise.
So he in fact was and is a Navy Seal. Listen to his after BT assignments. Every Military school he attended are the same ones required today for spec ops
@ThisPageStaysREAL No, it's like saying you flew F14s because you flew in the same force that eventually had them; When he was in the UDT, they WEREN'T known as SEALS....therefore he was never a SEAL...he was UDT...
@trinitymike Here's what i'll say on the subject, He was not a Seals in technical terms, but he was part of the core group that has now come to be known as Seals. UDT and the Seals had lots in common, but only one has the name recognition today. Instead of saying he was a UDT member, and wasting time explaing what that is, he says Seals. He never claims to have been in combat ops, and he has the respect of many in the Seals, and respects them politically. Thus, he gets a pass from me.
It's really that simple folks, the only way any society can survive being fiscally responsible which is your conservative side and socially liberal, meaning letting people be whoever they want to be as long as it does not infringe on anyone else's civil liberties. What we have in the west right now is the exact opposite.
@doire7 When you look back at the centuries of civilisation, can you really claim that the only way society can survive is to be as you describe? Open a history book.
@pgunn01 I was talking about now and the future. I'm sorry, i didn't realise i needed to be so precise. I just thought people would get the gist of what i was saying but you keep trolling youtube for these so called mistakes and i'll be here to debate you on the histroy of your country's role in the world in the last 75 years, anytime. Oh and unlike the vast majority of americans, we europeans actually like to travel and visit places of historical reference. Need i ask?
@doire7 It seems a bit odd to claim that the future MUST be some way when history shows considerable diversity for how things have been. Perhaps you meant to simply say "I am for free markets and social openness", which is very different from what you actually said.
I'm one of those (not very common, admittedly) Americans who travels, understands history, and speaks several languages.
@pgunn01 Nothing odd about it, the facts are, yourself and myself will be on this planet for a very short time and from now and the immediate future the best way forward is not to spend what you don't have. How on earth would i know whats going to happen in 1000 years time? This is not really that hard to digest but i expected no less and you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
@doire7 When you make an argument, take it seriously.
Deficit spending as a regular way of managing the economy is not strongly tied to any political party I know of; there may be short-term benefit to borrowing (as many businesses do in practice), but it's too specific an idea to be strongly tied to political theory. Anyone, from the most lassiez-faire to proper socialist parties, might be either for or against deficit spending as a short-term strategy.
@pgunn01 I made the argument and did take it seriously. You on the other hand took a small section of that argument and turned it into a mountain which is'nt reflective of what i was saying.
@doire7 What were you saying? I don't think I took a small section of your argument; I took the whole thing and showed (or at least suggested) it to be built on a faulty premise.
if he was in the seal equivelant, thats ok isnt it? i dont really care. as for conspiracy nut, grow up and do some research you serf! dont know that hes got a cult following, i just think most free thinking open minded people appreciate anyone who questions the lies presented to us as truth by the establishent.
before his time there were no SEALS, but the unit he was in became the SEALS after that, how many other politicians actually fought in a war? most are just taking money from the jewish lobby, this guy speaks the truth
@kingnek Seals became Active 1 January 1962. Jesse Ventura graduated with BUD/S class 58 in December 1970[4] and was part of Underwater Demolition Team 12 (UDT).[5] The UDTs were merged with the US Navy SEALs in 1983, 8 years after Ventura had left the Navy. Ventura stated: "Today we refer to all of us as SEALs; that's all it is
@kingnek You have really bit into the catholic propaganda hard.
Most of these politicians take money from the VATICAN. That is why the head of CIA, Head of FBI, Secretary of Defense, and most of the federal and state Supreme COurt Judges are mostly roman catholic. Even the people who are given jobs in the government from Raytheon, are roman catholic. BP is ran by roman catholic executives. The Financial Stability Board is headed by roman catholics.
@cheddyrod "Spent his entire time in Team 12. Never had a SEAL NEC ...Means Navy enlisted classification. It's a code all enlisted guys have that tells what their warfare specialty is. UDT guys were 5321s and SEALs were 5326s. Had to serve in a SEAL Team for at least six months before you qualified as a 26" - Artie Ruiz, UDT team mate of Jesse Ventura.
@TheRevengeOfFlaff Dude, you're speaking in terms of proper designations on paper. In the Navy, you dont go through BUDs, Jump School, Underwater Demolition Training, SERE or SBI unless you are in the special forces community. Same for the Recon Marines, Delta, Airforce Para Rescue, Rangers etc. So him saying he's a Seal isnt lying, because the things he was trained in, and activities he did/ did not carry out are the core of what is now called " The SeALs"
@ThisPageStaysREAL No, he wasn't a SEAL, so he is lying. He was in the UNDERWATER DEMOLITION TEAM. He was not a SEAL, as many other REAL SEALS point out.
There is a difference, and it is blatantly because it gives him credit, credit he doesn't deserve, because he is standing on the valor of others, who were GENUINE SEALS.
Jesse Ventura is a fraud, hence his teevee show on Ted Turner's network.
@TheRevengeOfFlaff Dude, the first SeAL team was deployed in 1962 in vietnam. Just slow down for a minute and think about what a SeAL is. Sea, Air and Land. Its the Navy Special Forces..simple. If he was a cook on a ship or simply a bosuns or something, i'd see your point. But the fact is, he went through spec-for training in the Navy, which was then, and now considered as the Seals. Its a simple thing you are trying to complicate based on official dates and NECs.
@ThisPageStaysREAL No, I am simply saying that Ventura is not being honest. I expect honesty, I don't give a shit about anything else. The TRUTH is that Ventura was not a SEAL, therefore, he is not telling the truth, therefore he is a liar, therefore anything he says should be taken with a grain of salt, if he can't even be honest about his own past. I went through training to be a teacher, you don't see me telling everybody I am a teacher, understand "dude"?
@TheRevengeOfFlaff You are trying to turn a paper designation which can, does and will change with time into a attack point on Jesse Ventura. I'll give you an example, a SIMPLE one. If you're in the NAVY, and are trained to conduct ANY demolition activities, or ground assaults, or ANY type of unconventional warfare tactics you are IN the SPECIAL FORCES community of the Navy. This Community is known as the SEALS or the TEAMS.
@TheRevengeOfFlaff If he's lying, you would need to show proof that his previous MOS or NEC had NOTHING to do with demolitions, or special training. Many of the people (Navy Spec-ops) who served in Vietnam during the 60's were all known as SEALs. That was the name given to the SF of the navy. If you told a UDT operator he wasnt a seal based on his NEC he would probably slap you. Look into Dick Marcinko for some context on udt/seals.
It'll give you all the information on Ventura you need, from officers and fellow UDT teammates who knew him, to CO's testimonies, and FOIA requests for info on Ventura's former service.Arguing over semantics is pointless, he's controlled opposition, a slick liar, and not much more else. I will look up Dick Marcinko, but I return to my original point, Ventura lacks basic honesty.
@TheRevengeOfFlaff I looked at the article, and see where you're coming from. However, I wont go as far as calling the man a slick liar etc. He isnt on a military platform in politics, I think his statements can be misleading, but not to any extreme. If he was never in the Navy for example, or had a sailor suit on full time. He's proud of his time in the service, and with all he speaks about his time spent talking about his SEAL service specifically is like 2%, and thats just cliche quotes.
@TheRevengeOfFlaff So I'll agree with you that he was not a Seal on paper, but state that means very little in hindsight considering he did go thru the training, was assigned to UDT 12, and got out honorably. He has only salisbury as an outspoken critic, and a number of seals know exactly what and who he is and have no problem with what he says in general. To be fixated on Seal vs UDT distracts attention from how good he is for the people, he could say he was james bond, and i'd still back him.
@ThisPageStaysREAL Bill salisbury, by the way, served as a Navy SEAL for 16 years. His assignments included OIC, SEAL Team ONE Det Golf in the Rung Sat Special Zone of South Vietnam (1967), XO SEAL Team TWO (1970), CO UDT ELEVEN (1977 - 79), Country and Regional Specialist for Latin America with duty in Panama (1972), Peru (1973 - 1976) and Honduras (1982).
@cheddyrod Retired SEAL Master Chief Dick Ray - ""5321 for UDT, 5326 for SEALs. Anyone who'd only served in UDT before the Teams combined in 1983 couldn't truthfully claim to have been a SEAL."
@TheRevengeOfFlaff The UDT were the precursor to the present-day United States Navy Seals. In 1983, the UDTs were re-designated "Swimmer Delivery Vehicle Teams" (SDVTs). SDVTs have since been re-designated SEAL Delivery Vehicle Teams. You are an asshole that knows shit about the USN
@TheRevengeOfFlaff You are a fucking asshole. UDT changed its name to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Teams. What don't you understand about a name change you retarded dipshit?
Jesse I'm 25 and I never owned a cell phone either ;)

Jesse; No matter how many times you claim you were a SEAL, you weren't. Why not state you were in the early Navy version of what BECAME the SEALs? Far more factually correct...
trinitymike 9 months ago
@trinitymike thats like saying, "i didnt own any glasses, but i had bi-focals" A name change which was what happened, since the core training remains the same is not a reason to keep a name that people wont recognise.
So he in fact was and is a Navy Seal. Listen to his after BT assignments. Every Military school he attended are the same ones required today for spec ops
ThisPageStaysREAL 9 months ago
@ThisPageStaysREAL No, it's like saying you flew F14s because you flew in the same force that eventually had them; When he was in the UDT, they WEREN'T known as SEALS....therefore he was never a SEAL...he was UDT...
trinitymike 9 months ago

What we have in the west right now is the exact opposite.
doire7 9 months ago
@doire7 When you look back at the centuries of civilisation, can you really claim that the only way society can survive is to be as you describe? Open a history book.
pgunn01 9 months ago
@pgunn01 I was talking about now and the future. I'm sorry, i didn't realise i needed to be so precise. I just thought people would get the gist of what i was saying but you keep trolling youtube for these so called mistakes and i'll be here to debate you on the histroy of your country's role in the world in the last 75 years, anytime. Oh and unlike the vast majority of americans, we europeans actually like to travel and visit places of historical reference. Need i ask?
doire7 9 months ago
@doire7 It seems a bit odd to claim that the future MUST be some way when history shows considerable diversity for how things have been. Perhaps you meant to simply say "I am for free markets and social openness", which is very different from what you actually said.
I'm one of those (not very common, admittedly) Americans who travels, understands history, and speaks several languages.
pgunn01 9 months ago
@pgunn01 Nothing odd about it, the facts are, yourself and myself will be on this planet for a very short time and from now and the immediate future the best way forward is not to spend what you don't have. How on earth would i know whats going to happen in 1000 years time? This is not really that hard to digest but i expected no less and you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
doire7 9 months ago
@doire7 When you make an argument, take it seriously.
Deficit spending as a regular way of managing the economy is not strongly tied to any political party I know of; there may be short-term benefit to borrowing (as many businesses do in practice), but it's too specific an idea to be strongly tied to political theory. Anyone, from the most lassiez-faire to proper socialist parties, might be either for or against deficit spending as a short-term strategy.
pgunn01 9 months ago
@pgunn01 I made the argument and did take it seriously. You on the other hand took a small section of that argument and turned it into a mountain which is'nt reflective of what i was saying.
doire7 9 months ago
@doire7 What were you saying? I don't think I took a small section of your argument; I took the whole thing and showed (or at least suggested) it to be built on a faulty premise.
pgunn01 9 months ago
@pgunn01 No you took a small section, end of. Mountain out of a mole hill, congrats redneck.

Ventura stated: "Today we refer to all of us as SEALs; that's all it is
J5MARLON 9 months ago
@kingnek You have really bit into the catholic propaganda hard.
Most of these politicians take money from the VATICAN. That is why the head of CIA, Head of FBI, Secretary of Defense, and most of the federal and state Supreme COurt Judges are mostly roman catholic. Even the people who are given jobs in the government from Raytheon, are roman catholic. BP is ran by roman catholic executives. The Financial Stability Board is headed by roman catholics.

cheddyrod 9 months ago
@cheddyrod "Spent his entire time in Team 12. Never had a SEAL NEC ...Means Navy enlisted classification. It's a code all enlisted guys have that tells what their warfare specialty is. UDT guys were 5321s and SEALs were 5326s. Had to serve in a SEAL Team for at least six months before you qualified as a 26" - Artie Ruiz, UDT team mate of Jesse Ventura.
You are the one who is an idiot.
TheRevengeOfFlaff 9 months ago
@TheRevengeOfFlaff Dude, you're speaking in terms of proper designations on paper. In the Navy, you dont go through BUDs, Jump School, Underwater Demolition Training, SERE or SBI unless you are in the special forces community. Same for the Recon Marines, Delta, Airforce Para Rescue, Rangers etc. So him saying he's a Seal isnt lying, because the things he was trained in, and activities he did/ did not carry out are the core of what is now called " The SeALs"
ThisPageStaysREAL 9 months ago
@ThisPageStaysREAL No, he wasn't a SEAL, so he is lying. He was in the UNDERWATER DEMOLITION TEAM. He was not a SEAL, as many other REAL SEALS point out.
There is a difference, and it is blatantly because it gives him credit, credit he doesn't deserve, because he is standing on the valor of others, who were GENUINE SEALS.
Jesse Ventura is a fraud, hence his teevee show on Ted Turner's network.
TheRevengeOfFlaff 9 months ago
@TheRevengeOfFlaff Dude, the first SeAL team was deployed in 1962 in vietnam. Just slow down for a minute and think about what a SeAL is. Sea, Air and Land. Its the Navy Special Forces..simple. If he was a cook on a ship or simply a bosuns or something, i'd see your point. But the fact is, he went through spec-for training in the Navy, which was then, and now considered as the Seals. Its a simple thing you are trying to complicate based on official dates and NECs.
ThisPageStaysREAL 9 months ago
@ThisPageStaysREAL No, I am simply saying that Ventura is not being honest. I expect honesty, I don't give a shit about anything else. The TRUTH is that Ventura was not a SEAL, therefore, he is not telling the truth, therefore he is a liar, therefore anything he says should be taken with a grain of salt, if he can't even be honest about his own past. I went through training to be a teacher, you don't see me telling everybody I am a teacher, understand "dude"?
TheRevengeOfFlaff 9 months ago
@TheRevengeOfFlaff You are trying to turn a paper designation which can, does and will change with time into a attack point on Jesse Ventura. I'll give you an example, a SIMPLE one. If you're in the NAVY, and are trained to conduct ANY demolition activities, or ground assaults, or ANY type of unconventional warfare tactics you are IN the SPECIAL FORCES community of the Navy. This Community is known as the SEALS or the TEAMS.
ThisPageStaysREAL 9 months ago
@TheRevengeOfFlaff If he's lying, you would need to show proof that his previous MOS or NEC had NOTHING to do with demolitions, or special training. Many of the people (Navy Spec-ops) who served in Vietnam during the 60's were all known as SEALs. That was the name given to the SF of the navy. If you told a UDT operator he wasnt a seal based on his NEC he would probably slap you. Look into Dick Marcinko for some context on udt/seals.
ThisPageStaysREAL 9 months ago
@ThisPageStaysREAL Google
"A former Navy SEAL Commander asks:
Was Jesse a SEAL or a UDT Guy?
by Bill Salisbury"
It'll give you all the information on Ventura you need, from officers and fellow UDT teammates who knew him, to CO's testimonies, and FOIA requests for info on Ventura's former service.Arguing over semantics is pointless, he's controlled opposition, a slick liar, and not much more else. I will look up Dick Marcinko, but I return to my original point, Ventura lacks basic honesty.
TheRevengeOfFlaff 9 months ago
@TheRevengeOfFlaff I looked at the article, and see where you're coming from. However, I wont go as far as calling the man a slick liar etc. He isnt on a military platform in politics, I think his statements can be misleading, but not to any extreme. If he was never in the Navy for example, or had a sailor suit on full time. He's proud of his time in the service, and with all he speaks about his time spent talking about his SEAL service specifically is like 2%, and thats just cliche quotes.
ThisPageStaysREAL 9 months ago
@TheRevengeOfFlaff So I'll agree with you that he was not a Seal on paper, but state that means very little in hindsight considering he did go thru the training, was assigned to UDT 12, and got out honorably. He has only salisbury as an outspoken critic, and a number of seals know exactly what and who he is and have no problem with what he says in general. To be fixated on Seal vs UDT distracts attention from how good he is for the people, he could say he was james bond, and i'd still back him.
ThisPageStaysREAL 9 months ago
@ThisPageStaysREAL Bill salisbury, by the way, served as a Navy SEAL for 16 years. His assignments included OIC, SEAL Team ONE Det Golf in the Rung Sat Special Zone of South Vietnam (1967), XO SEAL Team TWO (1970), CO UDT ELEVEN (1977 - 79), Country and Regional Specialist for Latin America with duty in Panama (1972), Peru (1973 - 1976) and Honduras (1982).
Only right to cite my sources.
TheRevengeOfFlaff 9 months ago
@ThisPageStaysREAL Marchinko transitioned from UDT into the SEALs; Ventura never did; that's the difference.
trinitymike 9 months ago
@cheddyrod Retired SEAL Master Chief Dick Ray - ""5321 for UDT, 5326 for SEALs. Anyone who'd only served in UDT before the Teams combined in 1983 couldn't truthfully claim to have been a SEAL."
Jesse Ventura left Navy service in 1974.
It is impossible for him to have been a SEAL.
Again, it is you who is the idiot, no?
