  • Bravo Park. Reminds me of great italian tenors like Martinucci or Del Monaco. He must have studied in Italy ??? He gave all in the end, I hope he will last long.....Great future for him I hope.....

  • tenor korean okey

  • Go Rudy! The idea that Giordani is still singing Calaf infuriates me, especially knowing that Rudy is running around with this voice!

  • Bravo, ma il solfeggio?

  • The conductor should stop for a while,so Park coul get aplause ,cause he very deserve it!!!

  • @Huljic The conductor cant stop there! Not on a diminished chord any way - unless he adds a kitchy extra chord in G Major!

  • @callasnuts

I saw a hundred times, that conductor stopted after aria, and wait a while for applause:)

  • @Huljic Yeah,so did I unfortunately, but you see, this is supposed to be art and not a celebration of a TOUCH DOWN or a SUPERGOAL in a major championship - just because the tenor eventually held a loooong top B natural finishing an aria that by the way is NOT at pop song; the drama goes on with a diminished chord and the ministers who try to send him away before he loses his head in more than a sense!:) Oh! Bu the way,I ment a D Major chord before - not a G major!

  • @callasnuts

O man i know all that...:) Never mind:)

  • @callasnuts not to further the argument but I do have a live recording of Turandot where the conductor stopped the performance for people to applaud another tenor...Franco Corelli! :-) I think at the Metropolitan :-)
