if you're pulling improv licks and runs and 32nd note fills out of your ass, then sometimes it can get cluttered and you lose vour place when singing..at least that happens to me..but ive never ever used a pick ever so maybe its different if a person does or not

Bouncing Souls generally play 3 chord / 4 chord simple punk rock songs with a solo over it to make it sound better. The bass does nothing but follow the guitar by playing the bass note of the guitars power chord.

don't get me wrong, I happen to love the bouncing souls they were one of the reasons i wanted to go to warped tour.

I just wanted to inform that their music is indeed simple.
