hey i was wondering about the bars on the side and where you got those from ? im a t5 complete hurt in a motocross race accident 6 months ago, and i want to get my 2007 kx250f set up
The bar work is all custom made from alloy tube. We made a bar bender and bent it up to the right shape then welded on the mounting points to bolt to the bike.
If your going to put some effort into setting up a bike id suggest getting something with electric start. I started with a YZ125 which was great but a pain to start, im guessing a 250F would be even harder.
I now have a KTM450SX and couldnt live without the electric start especially if you want to ride trails. The battery system is also good for running the gear shifter and saves the fitting of a custom charge system on an MX bike.
alright thanks man, im acutally switching over to a crf250x i just sold my kx250f today lol, im not sure i wanna ride the bike i got hurt on lol also wonder what brand is ur eletric shifter ? from what ive seen pingel only offers shifts for quads
Yep, a tree or fence is good but i usually stop up against the trailer or ute when i come back from a ride. I never ride alone so theres always someone to catch me if i need to stop and theres nothing around like in the dunes.
Oops... Broke my back racing motocross when i was 14

Nice video. I'd like to know how do you stop at the end of a ride and get off? do you park next to a tree or fence?
