I would guess that thats the real one. My cousin had a sword on his skyrim that looked like it down to the last detail. And the last time he tried to mod........lets not go there. Sooo, I'd just say to complete the "Dragon Rising" quest, go to whiterun, and do what this guy said in the video.

I'm pretty sure this weapon actually is effected by 1h perks, if someone could confirm but it has the speed of a 1h, beheads with the perk and it's damage is increased by 1h perks. I'm pretty sure it's that for PS3 anyway

Although, to do decapitations with this sword you will still need the perk that allows decapitations with a two-handed weapon. It's still a beast though, and my favourite weapon.

Also, for every second valid person you kill with the weapon you will be spoken to by (I forget the name of the daedric lord in question) So she'll speak to you five times, the fifth time to confirm the weapon's glory has beed restored. One IMPORTANT thing to note is that this sword is wrongly classified as a single handed, not double handed, so to get any damage bonuses from equipment you will need increased ONE-HANDED damage enchantments, not two-handed!

I've noticed in the comments some confusion as to the exact properties of this weapon. So here it is, simply killing innocents does nothing, the weapon gets stronger from killing people who TRUST you, because you've helped them out with a little quest or favour, killing these people ONLY increases the actual enchantment, not the base damage. The health drain starts at 10hp per hit, after killing 10 valid people it drains 30hp per hit. It doesn't get any stronger than that.

For those having problem with arrows stucked in their character, there are 2 sollutions. 1. If you play on pc patch the game, newest patch fixed this. If you cant patch it for any reason just go and let some bandit or someone shoot at you, those arrows should dissapear together with the new one

You can still do this if you've completed the Stormcloak rebellion storyline. The Jarl will be in the dungeon of Solitide (Blue Palace) and after you have talked to him there, the rest of the quest plays out the same.

The weapon itself can gain power by killing those who are close to you, for example as thane of Whiterun, kill Lydia and the blade will grow in power, besides the side effect of it - You are nearly invincible, if you can manage to keep hitting your target, it constantly drains their life to you.

Just because something has low damage, doesnt mean the abilities dont make up for it.

I had the same arrow glitch happen to my Imperial, except it hit him, I shit you not, dead center in the back of the knee. I'm too OCD to deal with that, so I had to make a new character.

It actually happened to me. He used to be an adventurer, but then he took an arrow in the knee.

This is probably one of the games you shoudl play on the PC. I don't have it but from what I've seen there are some pretty awesome mods that are worth it just for those. But PC doesn't have as fun gameplay in my opinion, however in an RPG gameplay is fairly basic so that doesn't matter as much I guess.

wanna kno the best weapons in the game? u need high smithing high one handed and high enchanting, make 2 daedric maces make them flawless/epic/whatever it is, then enchant them with the 3 highest destruction spells u have and bam instant kill with just one swipe of both to literally anything. go nuts

tip for higher damage: Get Grand soul gems Get 80 enchanting get Conjure reduce (for armour/neck/rings) just a conjure item to disenchant. use your maxed enchanter perk (5/5) to get highest enchants. make armour, I preffer Daedric armour w/ Conjure magic reduce. Do conjuration ritual @ CoW Buy/unlock Dead thrall. go to riften, Idk how the Inn is called, but you can buy ppl to help you. (500 coins) Lure him to a place, kill, and make him alive w/ dead thrall, repeat. thumbs ^, err1 can see

The fact that you think base damage means anything in the grand scheme of things shows just how little you know. Any weapon that can be upgraded on a grindstone has the potential to be a great weapon which is why the Ebony Blade is terrible, because it can't be upgraded. FYI I play on Master

@mistermoogle I'm well aware, I do the same thing for a steel sword. It does about 170 damage, and I too play on master. It's just BARELY challenging. Playing on Master doesn't mean squat if you're using a weapon that does 900 damage.. That'll one hit just about every normal enemy and two hit bosses.. Even at level 81, that would still be very well up to par with most of the enemies in the game. You're playing on easy-street.

@DiomedesStrosMkai At the end of the day unless you keep your weapons under 100 damage the game is going to be easy, even on master. Even if I limited my swords to 100 damage I could still increase my DPS by using Elemental Fury and eating a Vegetable Soup to chain power attacks and I bet I would kill just as quickly with that set up as I do my current one. There are plenty of ways to make yourself stronger, that's the whole point of an RPG, and eventually the game will be easy.

you have to be over level 20 to get some of the dedric quests on some you even have to be 30 and the sword uses one handed skill so if you have everything on two handed it will suck if you want a good two handed sword get a dedric great sword and enchant it
