I hate what they've done to the James Bond franchise. They've removed all the elements that makes a Bond film. No cheesy lines, no Q or R character, none or limited gadgets, no suave leading man, and the villians and their evil plans are not vamped enough. They've stripped it down, so it's more realistic. They've turned Bond into just another spy movie.

Hmmm, yeah, you've got a point. Big Bond fan here. On the other hand, and no disrespect to yourself, I kind of dig the 'stripped down' version. Casino Royale was rubbish (it's really a movie about poker) and Quantum was handicapped by the always-so-fatal 'Female Bond' (that latino-filo crumpet); but you can't tell me the invisible car wasn't going too far? I'm giving it some time, see where it goes, we'll see if I buy the DVD.

i agree with 2morrowman. Daniel Craig was a great bond and a great change. i hate assholes who didnt like casino royale just because it didnt have enough senseless action. it was an amazing film, although quantum of solace sucked in my opinion.

as for the best bond, idk. i can tell you the best bonds are definitely Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and Peirce Brosnan. the others were great but they just didnt have enough impact on the franchise. these men however, defined what we know as "James Bond".
