FFXII - NLBLLG Scathe Mote RNG

oh my god.

yesterday i was just walking by cerobi steppe when i found this chest, i opened it and got a scathe mote O_O

what are the chances of this happening? [i was like "useless chest, i dont need this", but now that i saw you having to use the RNG to get one, im really surprised with my luck]

I copied exact the things you did but I have not got the mote is the ps2 model important or does the rng always start on a different number?

@ff12NLBLLGler1 the ps2 starts in several different positions, and there are alot of positions which have the exact same cure value, for example 104. So you need to cast some in a row to be sure where you are. But the cure list is the same for every single ps2.

Pretty risky playing with the RNG with a guest in the party, isn't it? Guess it gives you someone to attack without worrying as much about killing them too soon in NLB, eh?

@XINGYEKONG Position 513 spawns the chest 100% and 606 gives you a scathe mote 100%. I use cure and balthier to move the rng to 606. Have you seen ZEROs cure list tutorial video?
