People are running in the opening of almost every action oriented TV series...as a kid would have you been entailed into watching an episode of Knight Rider which would have opened to the sight of K.I.T.T. proceeding safely along the road, well under the speed limit?

I love this opening more than any other opening in any anime I've ever watched. Ever... okay... I like "GO" (Naruto's third opening I believe) a bit more.

Also, This is the song from my favorite Gundam series, honestly I can't see what people like in the other ones, too much Emo crap from everyone, Amuro's emo crap is only counteracted by his badassery which the other seasons don't have.

Oh, and stupid pacifists are stupid.

@Zero829 Z, ZZ and 8th MS are all set in the UC timeline which I agree is the best because its about war and not a private group of owners trying to "fix the world"

@RealKull It completely changed the focus of Gundam for that one, not as much conveying an anti-war message, but more towards ecology. Also setting it up closer to super robots than real robots. But even with all that said, it's still my favorite Gundam anime. If you're one of those people who watch it only as part of a franchise and not as an anime in itself, obviously you'll see it as a disgrace.

Interesting to see how anime theme songs have evolved over the years. They started out as dramatic, almost opera-like songs (as seen here), and now it's almost all hard rock songs serving as openings. Not saying that's a good or bad thing...just an observation.
