The story goes(from a biographical article): one of the band members(or close associates) presented Dead with a home-made semla, which he found really disgusting. They then decided to write a song about it. Simple as that. A semla is indeed a traditional Swedish pastry which is designed roughly like a hamburger, only it's a sweetened bun with a layer of whipped cream and almond paste in between.

@lokreth1992 yes ive been to his grave too, it was nothing like you'd expect is it? its a simple, lovely little grave that a rose on it. i am sure if it were up to him though he would of chosen a much more darker form of tomb to rest in, also i find it ironic that dead and quorthon from bathory are both buried in the same cemetery, even when dead hated him, it seems even in the after life he can not escape the ones he hates
