The ride wasn't inspired by the movie the movie was inspired by the ride, just like Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion, I'd kinda like to see a version of the Thunder Mountain Railroad or a Space themed movie based off space mountain, that'd be interesting.

In that one, a 19th century adventurer named Hudson Hightower brings back a strange idol to his luxury hotel...and he then disappears during a thunderstorm. Is it the idol's work? That's what a newspaper reporter and the head of the historical society (Who is Hudson's daughter) try to find out.

I went to Disney World early this summer and was reminded of how Disney used to be. i was a kid again running around Disney World and meeting Mickey and the Princesses and then i come home and turn on Disney Channel...i had to change it. In all honesty Disney Channel has gotten so bad...Walt Disney must be so disappointed. :(
